After NVIDIA’s exciting Computex keynote, Dell stepped into the spotlight with its new AI innovations featuring the latest NVIDIA architecture. These advancements promise to elevate the “AI factory” ecosystem to unprecedented heights.
Dell has significantly ramped up its AI infrastructure, especially following NVIDIA’s introduction of its Hopper generation solutions, which quickly gained traction in AI markets. Not one to rest on its laurels, Dell recently unveiled advanced PowerEdge AI racks incorporating NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell GPUs, like the HGX B300. These can support configurations of up to 192 GPUs, offering cutting-edge speed and performance. Dell is also among the pioneers to offer NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 6000 “Blackwell” GPUs.
The new PowerEdge XE9780 and XE9785 servers are air-cooled and boast configurations of up to 192 Blackwell Ultra HGX B300 GPUs. For those seeking even greater performance, Dell offers liquid-cooled models, PowerEdge XE9780L and XE9785L, supporting up to 256 Blackwell Ultra GPUs per rack. This makes integration into existing data centers smoother and accelerates large-scale deployments. The latest PowerEdge servers promise up to four times faster large language model (LLM) training thanks to the NVIDIA HGX B300.
Moreover, the Dell PowerEdge XE9712, equipped with NVIDIA GB300 NVL72, is designed for efficiency at rack scale, delivering dramatically improved AI reasoning and throughput. Dell’s new PowerCool technology enhances power efficiency, paving the way for significant energy savings.
Looking ahead, Dell plans to introduce the PowerEdge XE7745 server, which will feature NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs by July 2025. This platform targets industrial applications such as robotics, digital twins, and multi-modal AI, supporting up to 8 GPUs within a 4U chassis. It also promises to support NVIDIA’s Vera CPUs and Rubin GPUs, highlighting Dell’s ambitious roadmap.
Dell aims to make AI accessible on a global scale. As envisioned by Dell’s CEO, the goal is to simplify the AI lifecycle for enterprises, from deployment to training. With these advancements, Dell is setting a new standard, firmly establishing itself as a leader in the NVIDIA-focused AI ecosystem.
