During the latest livestream event, exciting new features and content were unveiled for Cyberpunk 2077, promising to enhance the gaming experience for fans. A highly anticipated update introduces support for FSR 3.1 with frame generation. Additionally, there’s a collaboration with AMD to bring FSR 4 support later this year. Players can also look forward to Intel XeSS 2.0 with frame generation, reflecting the developers’ commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies.
Console players will benefit from HDR improvements, including Intel HDR10+ support and VRR functionality, all part of the update.
The game is expanding its content with four new vehicles—three cars and a bike—along with new quests to unlock them. Vehicle customization sees enhancements with fresh paint jobs and options for bikes, providing a more personalized experience. A novel auto-drive feature allows players to relax while their car adheres to traffic rules and drives to selected destinations.
A cinematic camera mode enhances this feature, offering a scenic view rather than the standard perspectives. This cinematic experience extends to the new taxi system, where players can summon a Delamain taxi, share a ride with Johnny Silverhand, and explore the city in style.
Photo mode receives a significant upgrade, offering players creative tools to adjust lighting, modify NPCs and poses, change weather conditions, and add stickers and effects.
Although the full patch notes are pending, the update is set to release for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles on July 17. Updates for Switch 2 and Mac are scheduled for a later date, with no specific timeline announced yet. This update promises to bring a fresh wave of excitement to Cyberpunk 2077 enthusiasts.
