The gaming world is buzzing with excitement as Dreamhaven, alongside developer FuzzyBot, has officially announced the release date for “Lynked: Banner of the Spark.” Set to debut new versions for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 on May 22nd, the game will also exit early access on PC’s Steam platform.
Originally launching as an early access title in October of the previous year, “Lynked: Banner of the Spark” has been a canvas for updates driven by community feedback. Max Spielberg, Co-Founder of FuzzyBot and Creative Director of the game, highlighted this journey, emphasizing their aim of merging vibrant action RPG elements with engaging town-building mechanics to create a truly unique experience.
The eagerly anticipated Version 1.0 update is packed with exciting new features, offering players an extended narrative and a plethora of adventures. Gamers can dive into chapters five through nine, which conclude the game’s main storyline and epilogue. Each chapter promises numerous missions, new bots to rescue, and thrilling town upgrades.
Excitingly, players will encounter the new biome, The VoidSpyre—a formidable fortress filled with 18 unique enemies, five challenging bosses, and procedurally generated maps ensuring that each mission is a fresh experience. As players overcome these challenges, they can enrich their bot-o-pedia with newly discovered VoidSpyre gillibots.
Beyond exploration, the update also delivers enhancements like new weapon mods, character skins, and the enticing sludge weapon core. Yet another noteworthy addition is the “Buddy Up!” update. This feature introduces Chef Brot, a culinary expert crafting a hundred new meals to energize the town’s Unibot residents. Players can also enhance their combat prowess by selecting up to two Unibots for companionship in single-player mode or one when teaming up in multiplayer.
