Colorful Lingchuang K16 Gaming Laptop Arrives With Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and Up to 128GB RAM
Colorful has introduced its Lingchuang K16 gaming laptop in China, and it is clearly designed for users who want desktop-class performance in a portable machine. The laptop stands out thanks to AMD’s powerful Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, a high-end Strix Halo chip that combines serious CPU performance, capable integrated graphics, and a massive pool of unified memory.
The Lingchuang K16 is already available through Colorful’s official store in China, but for now, there is no sign of a wider global release. That may disappoint international buyers, especially because the hardware inside this machine makes it one of the more interesting AMD-powered gaming laptops currently on the market.
At the heart of the Colorful K16 is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a 16-core, 32-thread processor based on Zen 5 architecture. This chip is built for demanding workloads, including gaming, content creation, multitasking, rendering, and AI-focused applications. In synthetic multi-threaded benchmarks, it should be capable of competing with powerful mobile CPUs such as Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285HX.
Graphics are handled by the Radeon 8060S integrated GPU, which is far more capable than typical integrated graphics. It uses a 40 compute unit design based on AMD’s RDNA 3.5-class graphics architecture and is expected to deliver performance close to an RTX 4070 Laptop GPU in some gaming and creative workloads. Colorful equips the Lingchuang K16 with a 16-inch IPS panel featuring a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, claimed 100% sRGB color coverage, and up to 500 nits of brightness. That combination should make it suitable for fast-paced games, video playback, productivity, and color-sensitive creative work.
Connectivity is another strong point. The Colorful K16 includes a wide selection of ports, such as dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, OCuLink, USB4, 2.5G Ethernet, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot. The inclusion of OCuLink is particularly notable, as it may appeal to users interested in external GPU setups or high-speed expansion options.
The flagship version of the Colorful Lingchuang K16 is priced at 34,999 yuan in China, which is roughly $5,217. That configuration includes 128GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD. It is a very expensive laptop, but the combination of AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395, Radeon 8060S graphics, large unified memory, high-refresh display, and extensive port selection makes it a distinctive option in the premium gaming laptop market.
For buyers who simply want strong gaming performance at a lower price, a laptop with a modern dedicated GPU and 32GB of RAM may be the more practical choice. But for enthusiasts interested in AMD’s latest APU technology, high unified memory capacity, and AI-ready mobile hardware, the Colorful Lingchuang K16 is one of the most eye-catching gaming laptops launched in China this year.
