Citizen’s New Promaster Seahawk Dive Watch Takes Flight With MH-60R Helicopter Inspiration

Citizen Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky Debuts as a Stealthy MH-60R-Inspired Dive Watch

Citizen has introduced a new special edition Promaster dive watch created in collaboration with Sikorsky, and this one takes a far more tactical approach than the brand’s previous aviation-inspired releases. The Citizen Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky BN0207-06H draws its design from the Sikorsky MH-60R, a maritime helicopter known for search-and-rescue operations and demanding naval missions.

Instead of a busy cockpit-style dial, the new Promaster Seahawk keeps things clean, rugged, and stealthy. The watch features a monochromatic gray color scheme, giving it a military-inspired look that feels purpose-built for both land and sea. A vivid orange seconds hand adds just enough contrast to improve visibility while also giving the watch a subtle rescue-equipment aesthetic.

The watch is built around a 43.5mm gray Super Titanium case with Citizen’s Duratect surface-hardening treatment. This makes the case lightweight, durable, and better protected against everyday wear. The matte gray dial is covered by a shatter-resistant mineral crystal, while a black unidirectional rotating bezel reinforces its dive-watch functionality.

Readability is a major focus of the design. Large luminous hour markers and broad hands make the dial easy to read in dark conditions, underwater environments, or low-light outdoor settings. A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, keeping the layout practical without distracting from the watch’s tactical appearance.

On the caseback, Citizen has added a detailed engraving of the MH-60R helicopter, along with “SEARCH AND RESCUE” text and Sikorsky collaboration branding. It is a fitting detail for a watch inspired by one of the most recognizable maritime helicopters in operation.

Power comes from Citizen’s Eco-Drive Caliber E168 movement. This light-powered quartz movement charges from natural or artificial light, removing the need for regular battery replacements. For buyers looking for a low-maintenance dive watch, Eco-Drive remains one of Citizen’s biggest advantages.

As expected from a Promaster diver, the Seahawk x Sikorsky is ISO-certified for scuba diving and offers 200 meters of water resistance. It also includes magnetic resistance, a screw-down stainless steel caseback, and a gray polyurethane strap with a pin buckle. The strap matches the watch’s overall gray theme and helps maintain its tool-watch personality.

Citizen is also giving the special edition a unique presentation. The Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky ships in a custom gray Promaster tackle box with bright orange latches, matching the orange seconds hand on the dial.

The Citizen Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky BN0207-06H is available now in the United States with a price of $575. At the moment, availability appears to be limited to the US market, and there is no confirmed information about a wider international release.

Key specifications include a 43.5mm gray Super Titanium case, mineral crystal, unidirectional dive bezel, matte gray dial, luminous indices, skeletonized hands, orange seconds hand, date display, Eco-Drive Caliber E168 movement, 200-meter water resistance, ISO diver certification, magnetic resistance, gray polyurethane strap, and an engraved Sikorsky search-and-rescue helicopter caseback.

With its stealthy styling, lightweight titanium construction, Eco-Drive movement, and MH-60R-inspired details, the Citizen Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky stands out as a strong option for collectors, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a rugged dive watch with a distinctive military-maritime identity.
