Casio’s Sleek New G-Shock GM-S2110 Metal-Bezel Watches Have Officially Landed in the US

Casio has officially brought two new compact metal-bezel G-Shock watches to the US: the GM-S2110-1A1 and GM-S2110-1A7. After launching earlier in Japan, both models are now available stateside at $200, giving fans a smaller, lighter take on the popular octagonal “CasiOak” look without losing the rugged G-Shock DNA.

These releases sit in the GM-S2110 family, which is designed for better everyday wearability. The case measures 45.9 × 40.5 × 11.0 mm and weighs just 56 grams, making it noticeably slimmer and easier to wear than larger full-size metal-bezel versions. Casio keeps the build practical by pairing a stainless steel bezel with a resin case, and finishing it off with a bio-based resin strap.

A key design highlight is the dial. Both watches feature a crosshatch hairline pattern that adds texture without going over the top, making them feel more restrained than some of the louder G-Shock colorways released lately. The GM-S2110-1A1 leans stealthy with a black dial and a negative digital display, while the GM-S2110-1A7 opts for a brighter, cleaner style with a silver dial and a positive digital display.

On the features side, these models stick to the core GM-S2110 formula. You get world time covering 31 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a full auto-calendar that runs through 2099. There’s also a hand-shift function that moves the analog hands out of the way when you need a clear view of the digital screen. For visibility in low light, Casio includes double LED “Super Illuminator” lighting for both the dial and the digital display.

As expected from a G-Shock, durability is a big part of the appeal. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters, suitable for swimming and plenty of hard daily use. Power comes from a CR1025 battery with an estimated three-year lifespan. Casio also uses mineral glass instead of sapphire, a choice that helps keep the price accessible while still offering solid everyday toughness.

With US pricing locked in at $200, the GM-S2110-1A1 and GM-S2110-1A7 look like a strong option for anyone who wants the iconic octagonal metal-bezel G-Shock style in a more compact, wearable size—cleaner, lighter, and built for daily rotation.
