Casio’s Next-Gen Analog Watches Are Coming—Now With Sapphire Crystal

Casio is preparing to expand its Beside Line lineup with two new analog watches that have just appeared on the brand’s official international website: the BLS-100D-1AV and the BLS-100D-7AV. Their early listings strongly suggest a near-term launch, and the focus here is clear—classic styling, durable materials, and an everyday-wear size that’s smaller than many recent releases.

Both models are positioned as “luxe” metal watches, pairing a stainless steel case and matching metal bracelet with a sapphire crystal. That sapphire crystal is a notable highlight for anyone who prioritizes scratch resistance, especially on a watch intended for daily use.

The BLS-100D-1AV goes for a clean, modern look with a black dial and silver-toned accents that complement the stainless steel finish. The BLS-100D-7AV offers a dressier contrast: a white textured dial paired with rose-gold colored numerals and hands, while keeping the same stainless steel case and bracelet.

One of the biggest differences versus Casio’s larger Beside models is the sizing. These BLS-100 watches measure 34.5 x 28.2 x 8.2 mm, making them a more compact option for smaller wrists or for anyone who prefers a slimmer, understated profile.

Functionality stays simple and practical. You get a traditional three-hand analog display (hour, minute, second), with stated accuracy of within 20 seconds per month. Casio also lists 50 meters of water resistance, making them suitable for daily wear and occasional splashes, and estimates a battery life of around three years using an SR626SW battery.

Based on the official product pages, the Casio Beside Line BLS-100D-1AV and BLS-100D-7AV are expected to release sometime in January 2026. Casio hasn’t confirmed pricing yet, and market availability hasn’t been detailed, but their appearance on the global site points to a broader international rollout rather than a limited regional drop.
