Casio has introduced four new minimalist watches in its Beside lineup, bringing a clean rectangular design, sapphire crystal protection, and classic dress-watch styling to the international market. The new BMS-105 models arrive in black and white dial options, with buyers able to choose between stainless steel bracelet versions and leather strap variants.
Designed as elegant analog timepieces, the Casio Beside BMS-105 series focuses on simplicity and everyday refinement. Each model features a silver-colored stainless steel case paired with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, giving the watch a more premium feel while helping protect the dial from daily wear.
The rectangular dial blends Roman numeral markers with slim baton indexes for a timeless look. A striped center section adds subtle texture, while the three-hand analog layout keeps the design easy to read and suitable for formal, office, or casual use.
Casio has equipped the BMS-105 series with its 1771 module, offering an accuracy of approximately 20 seconds per month. The watches use an SR621SW battery, which is expected to last around three years. They also come with 50-meter water resistance, making them practical for everyday splashes and light exposure to water.
The four new models include two bracelet editions and two leather strap editions. The BMS-105D-1A and BMS-105D-7A come with silver-tone metal bands and a 3-fold clasp. The BMS-105L-1A and BMS-105L-7A feature black leather straps for a more traditional dress-watch appearance.
Dial color varies by model number. Versions ending in 1A feature a black dial, while those ending in 7A come with a white dial. This gives buyers a choice between a darker, more understated style and a brighter, more classic look.
All four Casio Beside BMS-105 watches share the same case dimensions, measuring 42.5 x 28.5 x 6.7 mm. The leather strap models weigh approximately 39 g, making them lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. The stainless steel bracelet versions are heavier at around 104 g, offering a more substantial wrist presence.
Casio has confirmed that the new Beside BMS-105 watches are scheduled for release in September 2026. However, the company has not yet revealed the exact launch date or official pricing. Availability may vary by region, and the models could initially be limited to select Asian markets.
