Casio F-91WF Fabric-Strap Digital Watches Launch in India With a Classic Look and Eco-Friendly Upgrade
Casio has brought its new F-91WF fabric-strap digital watch lineup to India, giving one of its most iconic budget watches a fresh and more refined twist. The new series arrives in three color options: black, navy blue, and olive green, each priced at ₹2,195.
The Casio F-91W has long been known for its simple design, lightweight build, reliable digital functions, and impressive battery life. With the F-91WF series, Casio keeps that familiar formula intact while replacing the traditional resin strap with a woven fabric band made from recycled PET fibers.
This change gives the watch a slightly more premium and lifestyle-focused appearance without taking away the practical charm that made the original F-91W so popular.
The three models now listed in India are the Casio F-91WF-1A in black, the F-91WF-2A in navy blue, and the F-91WF-3A in olive green. All three variants carry the same ₹2,195 price tag, making them noticeably more expensive than the standard resin-strap F-91W, which is usually available for around ₹1,295.
That price difference mainly comes down to the upgraded fabric strap. Casio says the new woven band is made from recycled PET material and is designed to resist scratches and stains. It also gives the watch a softer, more casual look, making it easier to pair with everyday outfits compared to the classic resin version.
At its core, the F-91WF remains very close to the original F-91W. It still features the same compact resin case, measuring 38.2 x 35.2 x 8.5 mm, and weighs just 21 grams. This makes it extremely light on the wrist and comfortable enough for all-day use.
The watch includes the classic digital features that fans expect from the F-91W series. These include a digital time display, LED backlight, daily alarm, hourly time signal, automatic calendar, 12/24-hour time format, and a 1/100-second stopwatch. The stopwatch can measure elapsed time, split time, and first and second-place times, with a measuring capacity of up to 59 minutes and 59.99 seconds.
Battery life remains one of the biggest strengths of the watch. The Casio F-91WF uses a CR2016 battery and offers an estimated battery life of around seven years, which continues to be one of the reasons the F-91W family has remained popular for decades.
The watch also comes with water-repellent protection, a synthetic resin glass crystal, and a band size range of 145 mm to 215 mm. Accuracy is rated at approximately plus or minus 30 seconds per month.
While the Casio F-91WF models are already listed on Casio India’s website, they do not appear to be available for online purchase at the moment. The sale is expected to begin soon through Casio’s official online store and authorized retail partners across India.
