Casio’s Budget Bluetooth Step-Tracking F-B100W Watches Finally Hit the US

Casio FB100W Arrives in the US as a Step-Tracking Successor to the Classic F-91W

Casio’s beloved digital watch formula just got a modern fitness upgrade. The Casio FB100W, often described as an F-91W-style watch with a built-in step counter, is now listed in the United States with a price of $64.95. The compact Bluetooth-enabled digital watch is available in three color options and is positioned as a lightweight, practical everyday wearable for anyone who wants simple activity tracking without switching to a full smartwatch.

The new Casio FB100W series comes in three versions: the FB100W-1A in black with blue accents, the FB100W-1B in an all-black finish, and the FB100W-3A in sage green. All three models are tagged as September 2026 releases in the US, giving fans of Casio’s classic digital watches a fresh option with added health and connectivity features.

The watch first launched in Japan in early August at ¥8,800 and quickly sold out through Casio’s official Japanese store shortly after becoming available. Its fast sellout suggested strong demand for a simple, affordable step-tracking digital watch that keeps the charm of Casio’s retro designs while adding useful modern functions.

In the US, the FB100W costs more than its Japanese launch price. Japan’s ¥8,800 price includes consumption tax, putting the pre-tax price at around ¥8,000, or roughly $51. At $64.95 before local sales tax, US buyers are paying about 28% more. Even so, the watch remains far more affordable than most smartwatches while offering a cleaner, more traditional digital-watch experience.

The main appeal of the Casio FB100W is its combination of classic styling and basic fitness tracking. It counts daily steps and displays the total directly on the LCD screen, so users can check their progress at a glance. Step goals can be set from 1,000 to 50,000 steps in 1,000-step increments, making it suitable for casual walkers as well as users who want a more ambitious daily target.

Casio has also included a step reminder feature that alerts the wearer with a beep after long periods of inactivity. A six-level activity graph shows movement across the past seven hours, giving users a quick visual snapshot of their recent activity without needing to open an app.

Bluetooth connectivity expands the watch’s usefulness through the Casio Watches app. Once paired with a smartphone, the FB100W can automatically correct the time across approximately 300 cities. The app also supports life log features and includes a phone finder function, making the watch more convenient for everyday use.

Despite these modern additions, the FB100W keeps many of the traditional Casio digital watch tools that users expect. It includes a 1/100-second stopwatch with up to 200 lap records, a countdown timer, and dual time. These features make it useful not only for fitness tracking but also for travel, workouts, timing tasks, and daily routines.

The design stays slim and lightweight. The case measures 41.9 × 38.1 × 8.8 mm, and the watch weighs just 26 g. That makes it comfortable for all-day wear, especially for users who dislike bulky smartwatches or fitness bands. The band is made from bio-based resin, while the crystal is resin as well. Power comes from a CR2016 battery rated for about two years of use.

The Casio FB100W stands out because it does not try to be a full smartwatch. Instead, it offers a focused mix of step tracking, Bluetooth time syncing, essential digital tools, and classic Casio durability in a lightweight case. For fans of the F-91W design who want a simple activity tracker without daily charging or a touchscreen, the FB100W could be one of Casio’s most appealing new digital watches.
