Casio has expanded its G-Shock lineup in the UK with two new rugged hybrid watches: the G-Shock GG-B100XM-1A and GG-B100XMB-1A. These arrivals land a few weeks after three related models—the GG-B100X-1A, GG-B100X-1A3, and GG-B100X-1A9—giving UK buyers even more choice in the popular GG-B100 series.
Both new GG-B100XM variants are now listed on the Casio online store in the UK for £369 each. That price sits £20 above the other GG-B100X models, which carry an RRP of £349. The reason for the bump is simple: materials.
The key difference between the GG-B100X and GG-B100XM watches is the bezel. The earlier GG-B100X models use a carbon fiber bezel, while the newer GG-B100XM-1A and GG-B100XMB-1A switch to stainless steel for a tougher, more premium metal finish.
In terms of styling, Casio offers two distinct looks. The GG-B100XM-1A pairs a black body with a silver-tone metal bezel, finished off with red highlights such as the seconds hand for a sportier, high-contrast feel. If you prefer a stealthier design, the GG-B100XMB-1A goes all-black, featuring an ion-plated metal bezel and using golden yellow accents instead of red for a sharper, tactical vibe.
Despite the bezel change, these watches keep the rugged DNA that fans expect from a G-Shock mud-resistant, shock-resistant build. Both use Casio’s Carbon Core Guard structure and deliver 200-meter water resistance, making them well-suited for outdoor use, worksite wear, and water-heavy activities.
Feature-wise, the GG-B100 series is built for people who want more than basic timekeeping. Bluetooth connectivity allows the watch to sync with the Casio Watches app for automatic time adjustments, helping keep everything accurate with minimal effort. This model is also a Quad Sensor watch, combining the standard triple sensor set—altimeter/barometer, thermometer, and digital compass—with a step counter for everyday activity tracking.
For travel and planning, the watch supports world time and can display sunrise and sunset times—especially useful for hiking, early starts, and outdoor scheduling. You also get the essentials like a stopwatch, countdown timer, and alarms. The display setup blends three analog hands with a digital screen that shows helpful at-a-glance info such as the date and day of the week. Casio rates accuracy at up to 15 seconds per month when not using Bluetooth syncing.
As for availability beyond the UK, Casio hasn’t confirmed whether—or when—these GG-B100X and GG-B100XM models will launch in other regions such as North America. For now, UK shoppers are the ones who can officially pick up the new stainless-steel-bezel versions.
