Casio is getting ready to expand its popular high-contrast “Black and Bold Red” look with a tougher, more industrial twist. Newly surfaced promotional images suggest a February 2026 launch for a “YRA” metal-bezel lineup that pairs signature red-tinted displays with brushed, silver-toned stainless steel.
Instead of the stealthy, matte-black resin vibe from earlier releases, these upcoming models lean hard into an eye-catching metal aesthetic. The silver steel bezels reflect more light, which makes the deep red LCD tint and red accents stand out even more on the wrist. In short: the same bold red identity, now framed in cold, industrial steel.
The leaked lineup reportedly includes four GM-series watches:
– GM-5600
– GM-6900
– GM-2100
– GM-110
All four are said to keep the red-tinted LCD style and red detailing, but the change to a stainless steel bezel dramatically shifts the overall presence. The GM-2100YRA-8A, in particular, should appeal to fans of the “CasiOak” shape, using the familiar octagonal bezel to frame a layered analog-digital dial where the red hand tips and markers become the main color highlights.
On the specs side, this looks like a practical, everyday tool-watch release rather than a feature-packed tech showcase. The GM-5600 and GM-6900 are expected to use modules 3525 and 3529, both associated with an estimated five-year battery life. Another referenced module number, 5611, suggests this version won’t include Tough Solar charging or Bluetooth syncing. For some buyers, that may be a downside, but it likely helps keep the case slimmer and the price easier to swallow—two things many G-Shock fans still value more than app-connected extras.
Because negative or tinted displays can be harder to read in low light, the entire series is expected to include bright white LED backlighting to improve nighttime visibility.
As GM-series models, these watches should follow the familiar G-Shock formula: a resin inner case for impact absorption paired with a stainless steel outer bezel for added protection and a premium feel. While official pricing hasn’t been confirmed, the February 2026 timing appears strongly hinted at in the leaked materials. If pricing follows recent metal-bezel patterns, expect something in the neighborhood of around $180 for the digital square styles and up to roughly $220 for the more complex analog-digital versions.
If the leaks are accurate, Casio’s February 2026 drop could be a strong option for anyone who wants the dramatic “bold red” look, but with a brighter, more metallic finish that’s easier to notice—and harder to mistake for yet another all-black G-Shock.
