Casio GBD-200 Set to Debut in Europe with Bright Positive Displays

Casio is bringing two fresh G-Squad models to Europe: the G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 in black and the GBD-200-7 in white. First spotted at a retailer in July 2025 and already released in Japan, both watches are now listed on Casio’s European online stores in countries including the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Each is priced at €149 and marked as coming soon, with email alerts available for those who want a heads-up when stock lands.

What sets these editions apart from earlier GBD-200 variants is the display. Casio has switched to a positive memory-in-pixel (MIP) screen with a light background, replacing the dark-background look used before. The positive display is designed to enhance legibility in bright, outdoor conditions—ideal for runs, rides, and training sessions in full sun.

Built for everyday fitness tracking, the GBD-200 series can log distance, speed, and pace, and estimate calories burned. Bluetooth connectivity lets you sync data to the Casio Watches app, where you’ll also find smartphone GPS distance correction for improved accuracy and a phone finder to help locate your handset.

On the wrist, you still get the practical tools G-Shock fans expect:
– Countdown timer and stopwatch
– Four daily alarms
– World time support for 38 time zones

Power comes from a CR2032 battery rated for up to two years, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

European pricing is set at €149 per model, with availability marked as coming soon. There’s no official word yet on launches in the US or the UK. If you’re interested, sign up for stock notifications in your region and keep an eye on local listings for release updates.
