Casio G-Shock GMA-P2100C: Stylish and Budget-Friendly Watches with Polarized Dials Released

A few weeks after their unveiling, Casio has introduced the latest GMA-P2100PC watches in Japan. This collection features three models with pastel accents, perfect for those who love compact G-Shocks. These models—GMA-P2100PC-1AJF, -4AJF, and -7AJF—maintain the familiar downsized 2100 format but stand out with their innovative polarized dials. These dials change color based on light angles, complemented by a glossy index finish, inspired by sunlight dancing on the sea.

In terms of construction, these watches offer no surprises. They use matte-finish bio-resin for both the case and strap, measure 46mm in height and a little over 11mm in thickness, and are lightweight at just 40g. They feature 20-bar water resistance, a three-year battery life, LED lighting for both the dial and LCD, and the typical 2100-series features like world time, stopwatch, timer, and alarms. While lacking Bluetooth and solar charging, they remain affordable.

The -1AJF model in black serves as a versatile option for daily wear, while the -4AJF (beige) and -7AJF (white) options provide a more seasonal, beach-inspired look. Although presented in Casio’s women’s category, their neutral colors and sleek designs make them suitable for all.

Priced at ¥18,700 (approximately $127) in Japan, these watches are available through Casio Japan’s online store, with third-party retailers likely to follow suit. A US launch is anticipated soon.
