Casio has introduced three fresh additions to its G-Shock Baby-G lineup in Japan, expanding the BA-100 series with pastel-inspired designs and a glossy, light-catching finish. The new models—BA-110PD-2A, BA-110PD-4A, and BA-110PS-7A—blend playful style with the rugged practicality Baby-G is known for, with Casio positioning them as watches that are both “highly practical and seriously functional.”
What makes these new Baby-G releases stand out at a glance is the polarized resin used for the bezel, case, and strap. This material gives the watches a lustrous sheen that shifts subtly depending on how the light hits, helping the soft color palette look more premium and eye-catching on the wrist. Casio also adds cute, fashion-forward details, including heart-shaped motifs on the hour hand and a metallic heart accent placed at the 3 o’clock position.
Each colorway has its own personality. The BA-110PD-2A features a blue dial and matching strap for a cool, clean look. The BA-110PD-4A leans into pink accents across the dial and band for a classic pastel vibe. Meanwhile, the BA-110PS-7A mixes a pink and purple dial with a transparent strap, giving it a lighter, more airy aesthetic that still feels bold.
Beyond looks, these are hybrid analog-digital watches designed for everyday wear. The BA-110 series combines two analog hands with two digital displays, plus a digital indicator for at-a-glance information. For travelers and busy schedules, Casio includes world time with support for 48 cities, along with the option to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
The feature list stays true to the practical G-Shock Baby-G formula: a stopwatch, countdown timer, hourly time signals, and five daily alarms to keep routines on track. Durability is another key selling point—these watches are shock resistant and water resistant to 100 meters, making them suitable for daily life, workouts, and poolside use. An LED backlight also helps improve visibility in low-light conditions.
Pricing in Japan is set at ¥16,500 (around $105) per watch. Casio has also listed all three variants as February 2026 releases on its international site, signaling broader availability beyond Japan. That said, exact launch timing for specific markets—such as the United States or Germany—has not been confirmed yet.
For anyone searching for a pastel hybrid watch that balances street style looks with real G-Shock toughness, these new Baby-G BA-110 polarized-finish models are shaping up to be an appealing option—especially for buyers who want fashion details without giving up durability and useful daily features.
