Casio Introduces Four Slim Square MTP-B185 Watches in the US
Casio has expanded its US watch lineup with four new MTP-B185 series models, bringing a clean square-case design, slim stainless steel build, and classic dress-watch styling at an accessible price.
The new arrivals are listed as June 2026 releases and include three silver-tone models from the MTP-B185D range: the MTPB185D-2A1V with a navy dial, the MTPB185D-2A2V with a light blue dial, and the MTPB185D-7AV with a silver dial. Each of these models is priced at $100. Casio is also offering a dressier gold-tone version, the MTPB185G-9AV, priced at $120.
All four watches share the same slim case design. The stainless steel case measures 40 × 32.5 × 7.3 mm and weighs 80 g, making the MTP-B185 series sleek enough to slide comfortably under a shirt cuff while still having enough wrist presence for daily wear. Each model uses a mineral glass crystal and comes fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring an adjustable clasp. The bracelet is designed to fit wrists from 150 to 205 mm.
The dial layout is simple and refined, with three central hands, a date display, and clean index markers. Casio has skipped sub-dials and extra complications here, giving the MTP-B185 watches a minimal look that should appeal to buyers who prefer a straightforward analog watch with a vintage-inspired feel.
Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, which makes the watches suitable for everyday splashes and light water exposure, though they are not positioned as sports or dive watches.
The standout option in the lineup is the MTPB185G-9AV. While it uses the same stainless steel base as the other models, it adds a gold ion-plated case and bracelet for a more polished and formal appearance. Compared with the cooler silver-tone variants, the gold model leans more toward dress-watch styling and may appeal to those looking for an affordable accessory with a sharper, more eye-catching finish.
The Casio MTP-B185 series fits neatly into the brand’s Standard collection, drawing inspiration from vintage square watches and integrated bracelet designs. Its thin 7.3 mm profile, uncluttered dial, and classic proportions make it versatile enough for office wear, casual outfits, and more formal occasions.
With prices ranging from $100 to $120, the new Casio MTP-B185 watches offer a stylish option for buyers who want a slim analog watch with retro character. While some shoppers may find alternatives with more advanced features in this price range, the appeal here is clear: simple design, reliable everyday construction, and a timeless square-case look from Casio.
All four Casio MTP-B185 models are now available in the US.
