C. Viper Joins the Fight: Street Fighter 6 DLC Lands in October

Street Fighter 6 is gearing up for a big October update, headlined by the arrival of C. Viper as the next DLC fighter. Capcom has confirmed the fan-favorite agent joins the roster on October 15, accompanied by a special crossover celebrating the 30th anniversary of classic visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry.

First introduced in Street Fighter IV, C. Viper returns with a fresh narrative twist. No longer undercover, she now serves as the research director for SiRN, focused on cleaning up the remnants of Shadaloo. Her fighting style is as sharp as ever, and she lands with two distinct looks at launch. Outfit 1 reflects her new SiRN role, while Outfit 2 channels her iconic original design. Players can get Outfit 2 with Fighter Coins or by maxing out her bond in World Tour mode.

There are multiple ways to add C. Viper to your lineup. She’s included in the Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Character Pass and the Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or available individually via Fighter Coins. Capcom also dropped a new trailer to showcase her moveset and style ahead of release.

October 15 brings more than a new fighter. Street Fighter 6 will mark the 30th anniversary of Banshee’s Last Cry with a limited-time crossover. Expect a free World Tour episode, themed Battle Hub decorations, and log-in bonuses during the campaign window. It’s a rare crossover that blends classic visual novel storytelling with SF6’s evolving world, giving lore hunters and completionists plenty to chase.

Rounding out the update, Zangief is getting a mecha-inspired Outfit 4 on the same day. To hype the drop, Capcom is teaming up with metal band Cavalera Conspiracy on an original track tied to the new look. More details on the collaboration are coming soon.
