Rollme AuraCam Headphones Launch With Built-In 8MP Camera, AI Translation, and Wi-Fi 6
Rollme has introduced the AuraCam, a new pair of over-ear wireless headphones designed to do far more than play music. Positioned as the company’s first AI headphones, the AuraCam combines immersive audio, a built-in camera, real-time translation, meeting recording, and smart recognition features in one wearable device.
The standout feature is an integrated 8MP camera with electronic image stabilization. This allows users to capture photos and videos directly from the headphones while reducing blur caused by movement. Whether you are walking through a city, traveling, attending an event, or recording a quick moment hands-free, the AuraCam aims to make capturing content easier without needing to pull out a phone.
Rollme says photos and videos can be synced to its companion app with a single tap. The headphones support both Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6, giving users modern wireless connectivity for audio playback, syncing media, and smart features.
AI is also a major part of the AuraCam experience. The headphones include recognition features and live translation powered by OpenAI. Rollme is positioning the translation function as a useful tool for travelers, business users, and anyone who regularly speaks with people across different languages. Instead of relying only on a phone app, users can use the headphones to help bridge conversations in real time.
Another practical feature is meeting recording. Rollme says users can start recording a meeting with three taps, making the AuraCam potentially useful for students, remote workers, journalists, and professionals who need to quickly capture discussions, lectures, or interviews.
On the audio side, the AuraCam uses a 40mm microcrystalline metal diaphragm. According to Rollme, this driver is designed to deliver clear high frequencies while keeping distortion low, even at higher volume levels. The headphones also support low-latency performance, which should help keep audio synchronized during gaming and video playback.
Comfort has also been considered. The AuraCam features over-ear leather padding designed to reduce pressure during long listening sessions. Rollme describes the battery life as suitable for all-day use, and the headphones also support fast charging, although exact battery and charging figures were not specified in the launch details.
The AuraCam follows Rollme’s earlier AirCam, an open-ear bone conduction headset that also included an 8MP camera. That model offered 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second, 8GB of internal storage, and up to 10 hours of playback. With the new AuraCam, Rollme appears to be expanding the concept into a more traditional over-ear headphone design with stronger AI-focused features.
The Rollme AuraCam is available in Black and Beige. During the company’s 11.11 shopping festival promotion, the headphones are priced at $89.99. For users looking for affordable AI headphones with a built-in camera, real-time translation, meeting recording, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 6, the AuraCam offers an unusual mix of entertainment, productivity, and hands-free content capture in one device.
