Bose x Thom Browne QuietComfort Ultra Headphones Bring Luxury Fashion to Premium Noise Cancelling Audio
Bose has introduced a limited-edition version of its QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) in collaboration with American designer Thom Browne, turning the brand’s flagship noise-cancelling headphones into a high-fashion audio accessory.
The Bose x Thom Browne QuietComfort Ultra Headphones keep the same core technology as the regular QuietComfort Ultra model, but they arrive with a major style upgrade. Instead of the standard faux-leather ear cushions and headband padding, this special edition uses cashmere, giving the headphones a softer, more luxurious feel inspired by winter earmuffs.
The design also features Thom Browne’s recognizable red, white, blue, and white stripe pattern across the earcups, headband tag, and matching carrying case. The left earcup includes four white stripes, making it easy to tell the sides apart while adding another signature fashion detail.
In terms of performance, Bose has not changed the audio hardware or feature set. The limited-edition headphones still include Bose CustomTune sound, advanced active noise cancellation, Immersive Audio, app support, and USB-C audio. Battery life remains up to 30 hours when Immersive Audio is turned off, matching the standard QuietComfort Ultra Headphones.
The biggest difference is the price. The Bose x Thom Browne QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are priced at $950, making them more than twice as expensive as the standard version, which usually costs $449. This positions the collaboration as more of a luxury fashion statement than a tech upgrade.
Preorders are now open through Bose and Thom Browne, with shipping scheduled to begin on September 28. For buyers who want the same Bose noise cancellation and audio quality in a more exclusive designer package, this limited-edition release offers a stylish take on one of the most recognizable premium headphone lines available today.
