BMX Launches Budget-Friendly Magnetic Power Bank Featuring Built-In Cable and Smart Display

BMX (Better Mobile Xperience) is stepping into the spotlight with a new magnetic power bank designed for people who want fast charging, everyday portability, and added peace of mind. The newly announced BMX SolidSafe is now rolling out globally, and it stands out from many typical power banks thanks to its next-generation solid-state battery cells.

While most power banks rely on traditional lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries, BMX says the SolidSafe’s solid-state cells are built to significantly reduce the risk of fire, overheating, and other catastrophic failures. For anyone who carries a power bank in a purse, backpack, or travel bag every day, that safety-focused approach will likely be one of the biggest selling points.

The SolidSafe launches in three versions: a 5,000 mAh model, a 10,000 mAh model, and a 10,000 mAh version that also includes a microSD card slot. That last option could appeal to users who want a single accessory that covers both charging and extra storage needs, especially for travel or content creation on the go.

Despite packing solid-state tech and magnetic charging, BMX is keeping the device relatively compact. The SolidSafe measures 102.7 x 68 x 18.9 mm (4 x 2.6 x 0.74 inches) and weighs about 209 grams (0.46 lbs), making it an easy fit for daily carry without feeling overly bulky.

Charging options are a major highlight. The power bank supports Qi2 15W fast magnetic wireless charging, making it a strong match for modern phones that support Qi2. For wired charging, it delivers up to 30W through a built-in USB-C lanyard cable. BMX also notes that the USB-C cable can be used for data transfer, adding extra utility beyond charging alone.

To make charging management simpler, the SolidSafe includes a full-color LCD display that provides real-time battery percentage, wattage, and current status. Instead of guessing how much power is left or whether you’re charging at full speed, you get clear, at-a-glance feedback.

Compatibility is broad, covering everything from Apple iPhone 12 through iPhone 17 series models, to Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25 series devices, plus Google Pixel 7, Pixel 8, and Pixel 9 lineups. It also supports other USB-C Power Delivery and Qi2-compatible smartphones, which should make it a versatile option if you switch devices or share chargers in a household.

Color choices include black, orange, blue, and silver. Pricing starts at $79 for the 5,000 mAh model, with the 10,000 mAh version priced at $99. The 10,000 mAh + microSD variant comes in at $129. The 5K and 10K models are available now through BMX’s official website, while the microSD version is scheduled to arrive in February 2026.
