BMX has introduced a new ultra-slim magnetic battery pack designed for people who want easy everyday charging with an extra focus on safety. The BMX SolidSafe Air Qi2 wireless magnetic power bank pairs a compact 5,000 mAh capacity with Qi2 wireless charging and a reinforced build, aiming to make portable power more dependable for commuting, travel, and daily use.
Priced at $59.99 (MSRP), the SolidSafe Air is built around semi-solid-state battery cells. BMX says these cells are better at handling punctures and rough treatment than conventional lithium-ion batteries, helping reduce the risk of serious battery failures. To further improve durability, the power bank uses a titanium-reinforced body, giving it a sturdier feel while keeping the design slim and lightweight.
Portability is clearly a major selling point here. The power bank measures 103 x 70 x 6.8 mm (4.1 x 2.8 x 0.27 in.) and weighs 116 g (4.1 oz.), making it easy to slip into a pocket or bag without adding bulk. It also comes in three color options: gold, black, and silver.
On the charging side, the SolidSafe Air supports both wired and wireless power. A USB-C port provides up to 20W output for fast wired charging, while the Qi2-compatible wireless charging pad delivers up to 15W. If you charge two devices at the same time, BMX lists a combined output of up to 10W through USB-C and 12W wirelessly. The magnetic design is compatible with Apple MagSafe, allowing it to snap onto the back of iPhones for more stable charging on the go without needing cables.
Recharging the power bank is also designed to be quick and convenient. BMX states it can recharge at up to 15W and reach a full charge in around two hours, helping you get back to a ready-to-go battery pack faster between trips and busy days.
With a slim profile, Qi2 wireless charging, MagSafe-style magnetic attachment, and a safety-focused battery design, the BMX SolidSafe Air Qi2 power bank targets users looking for a modern 5,000 mAh magnetic charger that’s easy to carry and built to handle everyday wear.
