BIWIN has introduced a new DW100 DDR5 memory kit aimed at PC enthusiasts and gamers who want lower latency and stronger performance on AMD platforms. The new kit pairs a 48 GB capacity with DDR5-6000 speeds and an impressively tight CL28 latency rating, making it one of the more interesting options for users building or upgrading a Ryzen gaming PC.
The BIWIN DW100 DDR5-6000 CL28 kit includes two 24 GB memory modules, giving users a total capacity of 48 GB. This configuration is becoming increasingly popular among gamers, creators, and multitaskers who want more headroom than a standard 32 GB kit without moving all the way up to 64 GB.
What makes this launch stand out is support for AMD EXPO ULL, short for Extended Profiles for Overclocking Ultra Low Latency. Unlike standard EXPO memory profiles, EXPO ULL focuses on tighter secondary timings, which can help improve responsiveness and gaming performance. These optimized timings include values such as tREFI, tRRDS, and tWRWRSCL, all of which can play a role in reducing memory-related delays.
AMD has previously suggested that EXPO ULL-certified DDR5 memory can deliver up to 4% higher average FPS compared with standard EXPO-certified kits. While that gain may sound modest, it can be meaningful for competitive gaming, where smoother frame delivery and stronger 1% lows often matter as much as peak frame rates.
BIWIN says its new DW100 48 GB DDR5-6000 CL28 kit can offer even larger improvements in certain games. In the company’s internal testing, the kit was paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. According to the results, the EXPO ULL memory delivered up to 10% better 1% low frame rates compared with standard EXPO memory kits.
In Counter-Strike 2, BIWIN claims the new DDR5 kit produced an 8% increase in average FPS and an 11.91% improvement in 1% low FPS. These gains could be especially useful for esports players, where stable frame pacing and reduced dips can contribute to a smoother gameplay experience.
The company also tested the kit in Black Myth: Wukong, where it reportedly achieved an 18.18% increase in minimum FPS. Minimum frame rate improvements are important in demanding games because they can reduce stuttering and help maintain a more consistent experience during heavy scenes.
The DW100 lineup is not entirely new for BIWIN. The company already offers other versions of the DW100 memory family, including large-capacity DDR5-6000 kits and higher-speed OC Lab Gold Edition variants that can reach DDR5-8000 with CL34 or CL36 timings. However, those existing models do not carry AMD EXPO ULL certification. This new 2 x 24 GB DDR5-6000 CL28 kit is the first in BIWIN’s catalog to bring EXPO Ultra Low Latency support.
DDR5-6000 remains a popular sweet spot for AMD Ryzen systems, particularly because it often provides a strong balance of bandwidth, latency, stability, and platform compatibility. By combining that speed with CL28 timings and optimized EXPO ULL profiles, BIWIN is positioning the DW100 as a performance-focused memory kit for gamers who want more than basic plug-and-play DDR5.
