AMD is gearing up to release more Zen 5 APUs, and a recent leak hints at something exciting on the horizon. One of the standout entries is the entry-level Krackan Point 2 APU, which promises to shake things up.

The Ryzen AI 5 330, one of these anticipated models, has been spotted in Geekbench tests with impressive results, scoring 1949 points for single-threaded and 7047 for multi-threaded performance. While benchmark numbers aren’t the be-all and end-all, they offer a glimpse into what this new APU can handle.

This new chip was found powering an Acer laptop, showing a configuration of 4 cores and 8 threads. It’s built on a mix of 1 Zen 5 core and 3 Zen 5c cores, similar to its predecessor, the Ryzen 3 7440U, which was a go-to for energy-efficient mobile platforms.
