Pokémon-Themed Beats Pill Speaker Teased, and Pikachu Looks Like the Star
Beats appears to be getting ready to launch a special Pokémon edition of its popular Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker, and all signs point to Pikachu taking center stage.
A new teaser from Beats by Dre has sparked excitement among both tech fans and Pokémon collectors. The short promo uses the phrase “Time to catch something new,” a clear nod to the iconic Pokémon slogan, while teasing what looks like a themed version of the Beats Pill speaker. Although the product itself has not been fully revealed yet, the branding and visual hints strongly suggest that a collaboration between Apple’s Beats and Pokémon is on the way.
The upcoming speaker is expected to feature a Pikachu-inspired design. Earlier leaks showed packaging for what appeared to be a Pokémon Beats Pill inside a shopping cart, giving fans their first clue that a special edition model was coming. The latest teaser now adds more weight to those rumors and makes an official reveal seem likely.
What makes the teaser even more interesting is the possible hint at a second Pokémon design. Alongside the Pikachu-themed clues, the video reportedly includes purple flashes, which has led fans to speculate about another version inspired by Mewtwo, Espeon, or Gengar. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the idea of multiple Pokémon-themed Beats Pill speakers could make this launch especially appealing to collectors.
The current Beats Pill, released in 2024, already offers a strong feature set for a compact portable speaker. It includes a woofer and tweeter setup, IP67 water and dust resistance, and up to 24 hours of battery life. These features make it suitable for outdoor use, travel, parties, and everyday listening.
If the Pokémon edition keeps the same hardware, buyers can expect the same portable audio performance with a collectible design twist. For fans of Pikachu and the wider Pokémon universe, this could become one of the more eye-catching Bluetooth speaker releases of the year.
The standard Beats Pill is currently available at a lower price than its original launch cost, but special-edition collaborations often come with unique packaging, limited availability, and higher demand. If Beats officially announces the Pokémon model soon, it may sell quickly among fans, collectors, and anyone looking for a playful portable speaker with recognizable pop-culture appeal.
For now, Beats has not confirmed the release date, pricing, or final design. Still, the teaser makes one thing clear: something Pokémon-related is coming, and Pikachu may be ready to power up the Beats Pill lineup.
