Baseus is preparing to launch a new compact docking station aimed at users who want more ports, more display options, and faster charging without cluttering their desk. The upcoming Baseus Spacemate RD1 Mini Docking Station has appeared on Amazon, revealing a 10-in-1 USB-C hub with dual 4K monitor support, a built-in smart display, and up to 100W laptop charging.
The Spacemate RD1 Mini stands out with a phone-sized design that makes it easy to place beside a laptop, monitor, or desktop setup. Measuring 4.43 x 2.83 x 1.61 inches, it is built for users who need a powerful USB-C docking station but do not want a bulky hub taking up valuable workspace.
This new Baseus dock includes an integrated USB-C cable and a wide selection of ports for everyday productivity. On the front, users get two USB-C ports with 10Gbps transfer speeds, making them useful for fast external drives, accessories, and other high-speed devices. There is also a separate 30W USB-C PD port designed for charging smaller devices such as smartphones, tablets, earbuds, or handheld gadgets.
The rear of the docking station includes three USB-A ports with 5Gbps speeds, two HDMI ports capable of 4K output at 60Hz, a gigabit Ethernet port for stable wired internet, and a 120W DC power input. Baseus is also including a 120W GaN charger with the dock, which should make it easier to power the hub and connected devices right out of the box.
One of the biggest selling points of the Baseus Spacemate RD1 Mini is its support for dual 4K monitors at 60Hz. This makes it a practical choice for laptop users who want to create a cleaner dual-screen workstation for multitasking, office work, content creation, or remote work. With two HDMI ports, users can connect external displays without needing extra adapters.
The dock also adds a smart display, which gives it a more premium and practical feel. The built-in screen can show real-time port activity and charging output, helping users monitor what is connected and how much power is being delivered. It can also alert users to connection problems or charging issues, which could be useful for troubleshooting without unplugging everything.
Baseus has also included a multifunction button that can turn the display on or off. The button can also be used to lock the connected laptop, adding a quick convenience feature for users working in shared spaces or offices.
Charging is another major feature of the Spacemate RD1 Mini. The dock supports up to 100W power delivery for laptops, making it suitable for many USB-C laptops that require high-wattage charging. At the same time, the additional 30W USB-C PD port allows users to charge a phone or tablet without occupying the main laptop charging connection.
Compared with some other 10-in-1 desktop USB-C hubs, the Baseus Spacemate RD1 Mini focuses more on USB-C connectivity and compact design. It offers extra USB-C ports for accessories and charging, though it does not include SD card slots or a DisplayPort connection. That means it may be better suited for users who prioritize USB-C devices, HDMI monitors, and charging flexibility over memory card support.
The Baseus Spacemate RD1 Mini Docking Station is currently listed on Amazon, but it is not yet available to order. Its final launch price and shipping date have not been confirmed. Early listing information suggests the dock was first shown at $109.99 before being adjusted to $169.99, though pricing may change again before release.
With dual 4K 60Hz monitor support, six USB ports, 100W laptop charging, a 30W USB-C charging port, gigabit Ethernet, and a smart status display, the Baseus Spacemate RD1 Mini could become an appealing option for anyone looking to upgrade a laptop workstation. Its compact size and included 120W GaN charger may make it especially attractive for users who want a powerful docking station without a large desktop footprint.
