Aventon Unleashes the Ramblas ADV: A New E-Mountain Bike Promising Up to 90 Miles of Adventure

Aventon is expanding its electric mountain bike lineup with the launch of the Ramblas ADV, a new hardtail eMTB designed for riders who want long-range capability, strong climbing support, and trail-ready components without jumping into premium price territory.

At the heart of the Aventon Ramblas ADV is the company’s second-generation in-house mid-drive system, the A100 motor. It delivers 250W of nominal power, up to 750W peak output, and a hefty 100 Nm of torque for responsive acceleration and confident uphill performance. The motor is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance, and it includes four pedal-assist modes—Eco, Trail, Auto, and Turbo—so riders can choose efficiency, balanced support, or maximum boost depending on terrain and battery goals.

Powering the system is a 708Wh battery built with LG 21700 cells. Aventon rates the Ramblas ADV for up to 90 miles (145 km) of range on a single charge, making it especially appealing for longer trail days, extended weekend rides, and riders who don’t want to worry about frequent recharging.

The rest of the build leans into modern trail expectations. The bike rolls on Maxxis Rekon 29 x 2.4-inch tubeless tires for grip and rolling efficiency, paired with a RockShox Psylo Silver R suspension fork offering 130 mm of travel to smooth out rough terrain. Braking is handled by SRAM DB6 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with large 200 mm rotors front and rear, a setup aimed at stronger control on steep descents and under heavier loads.

For shifting, Aventon equips the Ramblas ADV with an SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and an 11–50T cassette, providing a wide gear range for climbing and maintaining cadence across changing trail conditions.

Out of the box, the Ramblas ADV ships as a Class 1 electric bike, but it can be converted to Class 3, enabling pedal assist up to 28 mph (45 km/h) where permitted. It also supports a maximum payload of 300 lbs (136 kg), which is useful for larger riders or those carrying extra gear.

Aventon also includes companion app support, giving users the ability to fine-tune motor behavior and adjust select ride settings to better match their style—whether that’s prioritizing smoother assistance, stronger response, or better efficiency.

Pricing is set at $2,899, and the Aventon Ramblas ADV is available in M, L, and XL sizes. Buyers can choose from cerulean, tropos, and borealis color options, with availability through Aventon’s official sales channels.
