ATK Blazing Sky Phantom launches as a 44g carbon fiber gaming mouse with 8K polling
ATK has introduced a new ultra-lightweight gaming mouse aimed at competitive players who want speed, precision, and a standout design. The new ATK Blazing Sky Phantom brings a carbon fiber composite body, a perforated shell, high-end sensor specs, and support for up to 8K polling in both wired and wireless modes.
Weighing just 44 grams, the Blazing Sky Phantom is one of the lightest full-body gaming mice in its category. Instead of using a traditional solid shell, ATK has designed the mouse with a symmetrical, low-profile shape and cutouts across the body to reduce weight while keeping the structure durable. The carbon fiber composite construction also gives it a distinct look compared with many standard plastic gaming mice.
The Blazing Sky Phantom is built for small to medium-sized hands, according to ATK. Its shape is designed to suit multiple grip styles, including claw grip, fingertip grip, and palm grip, making it a flexible option for different types of gamers.
For performance, the mouse uses the PAW3955 Master sensor, offering up to 40,000 DPI, 850 IPS tracking speed, and 75G acceleration. These specifications put it in line with modern high-performance gaming mice made for fast-paced titles where accurate tracking and quick response times matter.
Another major highlight is its claimed 8K polling rate support. ATK says the Blazing Sky Phantom can reach 8K polling in both wired and wireless modes, which may appeal to players looking for lower input latency and smoother cursor response during competitive gameplay.
The left and right mouse buttons use Omron optical switches, which are designed to provide fast actuation and improved durability compared with traditional mechanical switches. On the bottom, the mouse features white translucent double-layer skates that are described as dent-resistant, helping the mouse glide smoothly across a mousepad.
Battery life is also a key selling point. The ATK Blazing Sky Phantom includes a 300 mAh battery, with ATK claiming up to 200 hours of use at a 1K polling rate. As expected, battery life will likely be shorter when using higher polling rates, especially 4K or 8K wireless modes.
The gaming mouse is available in four color options: Dune, Verge, Eon, and Prime. Dune comes in a sand-like tone, Verge is blue, Eon is black, and Prime is white.
The ATK Blazing Sky Phantom is priced at $120. At launch, ATK is offering a $20 discount, bringing the price down for early buyers. A Halloween Mystery Box is also included as part of the promotional bundle for a limited time. The mouse is also listed on Amazon at its full retail price, with deliveries expected to begin on October 28, though that version does not include the Halloween Mystery Box.
With its 44g weight, carbon fiber composite shell, 40,000 DPI sensor, Omron optical switches, and 8K polling support, the ATK Blazing Sky Phantom is clearly designed for gamers who want a premium lightweight wireless gaming mouse focused on speed and precision.
