Asus has refreshed its Chromebook CX15 offering in India with a new bundle aimed at students, remote workers, and everyday users who want a simple laptop with built-in AI benefits. The updated Asus Chromebook CX15, model CX1505CTA-S70293, now comes with a three-month Google AI Pro membership, giving buyers access to Gemini Advanced along with 5 TB of Google One cloud storage.
The laptop itself remains the same in terms of hardware and design, but the added AI subscription makes the package more appealing for users who rely on cloud storage, productivity tools, and AI-assisted writing, research, planning, and creative tasks. With Gemini Advanced included for a limited period, the Chromebook CX15 becomes a more useful option for those who want to explore Google’s latest AI features without paying separately right away.
At the heart of the Asus Chromebook CX15 is Intel’s N50 processor, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage. This setup is designed for everyday computing, including web browsing, video streaming, online classes, document editing, emails, and light multitasking. Since it runs ChromeOS, users also get access to Android apps through the Google Play Store, making the device flexible for both work and entertainment.
The Chromebook features a 15.6-inch Full HD NanoEdge display with a 1,920 × 1,080 resolution. The screen includes an anti-glare coating, 300 nits of brightness, and an 87% screen-to-body ratio, giving it a modern look while offering enough space for browsing, documents, video calls, and streaming. The larger display size should especially appeal to users who prefer a more comfortable viewing experience compared with smaller Chromebooks.
Asus has also included several practical features that make the Chromebook CX15 suitable for daily use. The laptop carries US MIL-STD-810H durability certification, which suggests it has been tested against certain reliability standards. It also includes a Titan C security chip for enhanced protection and a physical webcam privacy shutter, giving users more control over their privacy during video calls.
Connectivity is another strong point of the Chromebook CX15. It supports Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless performance and Bluetooth 5.4 for connecting accessories such as wireless headphones, keyboards, and mice. The port selection includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot. This range of ports makes it easier to connect external displays, storage devices, chargers, and other peripherals without needing too many adapters.
Battery life is rated at up to 12.5 hours from its 42 Wh battery, making the Chromebook CX15 a practical choice for school, office work, travel, or long study sessions. Its 3.5 lb, or 1.59 kg, weight keeps it portable enough for daily carrying, while the Pure Grey finish gives it a clean and simple appearance.
The Asus Chromebook CX15 with the Google AI Pro bundle is priced at ₹47,990 in India, which is roughly around US$500. It is available through Asus’ official online store and authorized retail partners. At the moment, Asus has not confirmed whether this AI-focused Chromebook bundle will be released in other markets.
With its large Full HD display, ChromeOS simplicity, durable build, long battery life, and added Google AI Pro benefits, the Asus Chromebook CX15 is positioned as a practical laptop for users who want a cloud-first device with modern AI tools included.
