Asus Brings New ROG Zephyrus G14 to North America, But RTX 5080 Fans Are Left Waiting

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2026 expands availability with Intel and AMD options

Asus is broadening the rollout of its latest ROG Zephyrus G14, bringing the 2026 version of the popular 14-inch gaming laptop to more markets after its European debut. The compact performance machine is now available in regions including the UK, with North American availability also beginning to take shape.

The 2026 ROG Zephyrus G14 continues the series’ focus on high-end gaming power in a smaller, travel-friendly design. This year, Asus is offering two main processor paths: AMD Gorgon Point and Intel Panther Lake. To make the lineup easier to identify, the AMD-based version carries the GA403 model number, while the Intel-powered version is listed as GU405.

In Canada, the Intel configuration is already appearing with premium hardware. One version pairs the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD for CAD 4,299. A higher-tier model upgrades the graphics to a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti while keeping the same processor, memory, and storage, raising the price to CAD 4,799.

Asus has also confirmed that the Intel-based ROG Zephyrus G14 2026 will arrive in the United States starting at $3,599. The company says the laptop will be available with storage options reaching up to 2 TB, although full pricing for those configurations has not yet been revealed.

One notable detail is the current absence of GeForce RTX 5080 models in North America. Asus has not listed that version for the region yet, despite offering higher-end graphics options in other markets. In the UK, the RTX 5080 model carries a noticeable price increase, costing around 19% more than a comparable RTX 5070 Ti configuration.

With its mix of Intel and AMD processors, next-generation NVIDIA graphics, and a compact 14-inch form factor, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2026 is shaping up to be one of the more compelling premium gaming laptops of the year. For buyers who want a portable gaming laptop with strong creator-focused performance, the new G14 remains one of the key models to watch as Asus expands availability across more regions.
