Apple Watch Ultra 2 Unveils Sleek Black Hue and Fresh Strap Selections

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 now comes in a stunning new color for the first time since its launch. While Apple’s September 9 Glowtime event didn’t see the launch of an Apple Watch Ultra 3, fans of the ultra-premium line have something new to get excited about with the introduction of the Black Titanium colorway. This marks the first time that the Apple Watch Ultra series is available in more than one color.

The new Black Titanium finish is crafted from 95% recycled titanium, giving it both an environmentally friendly edge and a sleek, satin finish. This exciting release also comes with a brand-new Milanese strap designed to complement the dark hue perfectly.

In addition to the new color, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will enhance its capabilities with the upcoming watchOS 11 update. Users can look forward to new functions like sleep apnea detection, Apple Intelligence, and offline maps. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the added features such as Training Load and the Vitals app.

Staying true to its premium pricing, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black Titanium retains the $799 price tag of its original color option. Opting for the Milanese loop, however, bumps the price to $899. Furthermore, Apple introduced an array of additional straps, including the luxe Apple Watch Hermes Ultra 2 Bleu Nuit En Mer, which is priced at $499. For those preferring more sporty options, new colors for the Alpine Loop, Trail Loop, and Ocean Band straps are available at $99 each.

Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 Black Titanium are open now, with the official release set for September 20. If you’re keen on upgrading your wristwear, this new color variant and the accompanying updates are sure to pique your interest.
