Aoostar has launched a captivating new mini PC series called MACO in China, presenting an enticing option for tech enthusiasts looking for performance without breaking the bank. This series debuts with two configurations, both powered by impressive processors from AMD’s Hawk Point lineup.
The first model features the potent Ryzen 7 Pro 8845HS processor, while the second opts for the Ryzen 7 255H. Both configurations are equipped with the Radeon 780M integrated GPU, allowing users to enjoy gaming at 1080p with low settings.
A standout feature is the inclusion of two USB4 and an OCuLink port, providing the flexibility to connect an external GPU for enhanced gaming performance. Beyond these, the mini PC is designed with a comprehensive array of ports:
– Two USB 3.2 Type-A
– Two USB 2.0 Type-A
– One 3.5 mm audio jack
– Two 2.5G LAN ports
– One HDMI
– One DisplayPort

Price-wise, the barebone model with the Ryzen 7 255H is priced at CNY 1,999 (about $277), while the more robust Ryzen 7 Pro 8845HS version is CNY 2,299 (around $319). While global pricing and release dates are yet to be detailed, an international rollout is anticipated soon, offering a compelling option for those seeking a balance of power and affordability.
