Aoostar Maco-L 7735U Mini PC Debuts With Ryzen Power, OCuLink eGPU Support, and a Budget-Friendly Price
Aoostar has unveiled the Maco-L 7735U, a compact new mini PC aimed at users who want strong everyday performance, flexible expansion, and external GPU support without paying premium desktop prices. Launching first in China, the system starts at CNY 2,699, which is roughly around $400.
At the heart of the Aoostar Maco-L 7735U is the AMD Ryzen 7 7735U, a Zen 3+ processor from AMD’s Rembrandt-U refresh family. This chip is designed for efficient performance in compact systems, making it a good fit for productivity, media use, multitasking, and light creative workloads.
The processor also includes Radeon 680M integrated graphics. While it is not the newest or most powerful integrated GPU on the market, it is still capable of handling lighter games and some 1080p gaming when settings are adjusted properly. For users who need more graphics performance, the Maco-L 7735U has a major advantage: OCuLink support.
The inclusion of an OCuLink port makes this mini PC far more interesting for gamers and power users. OCuLink offers a high-bandwidth connection for external GPUs, allowing users to pair the small desktop with a dedicated graphics card for much stronger gaming, rendering, and AI workload performance. The system also includes USB4 ports, giving users another option for external GPU setups and high-speed accessories.
Connectivity is one of the strongest parts of the Aoostar Maco-L 7735U. The mini PC comes with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB4 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one OCuLink port, two 2.5G LAN ports, one DisplayPort, and one HDMI port.
Thanks to HDMI, DisplayPort, and the two USB4 ports, the device supports up to four displays. That makes it a useful option for office setups, trading stations, content creation desks, coding environments, and multitasking-heavy workflows. The system also supports 100W Power Delivery, adding more convenience for modern desk setups.
Memory and storage options are also impressive for a mini PC in this price range. The AMD Ryzen 7 7735U can be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 memory. Aoostar also highlights strong internal storage expansion, with three PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. Each slot is expected to support SSDs up to 8TB, giving the system massive potential storage capacity for users who work with large files, game libraries, media archives, or local backups.
Cooling is another area Aoostar is promoting with this model. The company says the internal thermal design is built to keep both the processor and installed SSDs within safe operating temperatures while keeping fan noise under control. That matters for a compact PC, especially one designed to support multiple high-speed drives and external GPU use.
The Maco-L 7735U also features a sleek chassis and a built-in fingerprint sensor, adding a layer of convenience and security for quick sign-ins. However, Aoostar has not clearly mentioned built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth support, which may indicate that the system does not include a wireless card by default. Buyers may need to rely on wired networking or add wireless connectivity separately.
For around $400 at launch in China, the Aoostar Maco-L 7735U looks like a compelling mini PC for users who want a compact Ryzen-powered desktop with serious expansion options. Its combination of AMD Ryzen 7 performance, Radeon 680M graphics, OCuLink eGPU support, USB4, dual 2.5G Ethernet, quad-display output, and triple PCIe 4.0 storage support makes it stand out in the affordable mini PC market.
Aoostar has not confirmed international availability yet. However, since other models in the Maco lineup have reached global markets, there is a good chance the Maco-L 7735U could launch outside China in the near future.
