Anker Unveils Smart Window Camera With 25° Tilt and On-Device AI Detection

Eufy Window Camera E10 turns your window into a smart security lookout

Eufy has introduced the Window Camera E10, a compact indoor security camera designed to monitor outdoor areas through a window. Instead of requiring drilling, outdoor wiring, or wall mounting, the camera attaches directly to the inside of a glass pane using a reusable adhesive pad.

The idea is simple: place it on an interior window, aim it at your driveway, garden, front door, or entryway, and let it watch the outside of your home from the safety of indoors. It is aimed at homeowners and renters who want outdoor-style security coverage without installing a camera outside.

The Eufy Window Camera E10 is priced at $79.99 in the United States and £69.99 in the United Kingdom. A two-camera bundle is also available for $149.99 in the US and £129.99 in the UK. Pre-orders are open, with shipping expected in November.

A window-mounted security camera built for easy installation

One of the biggest selling points of the Eufy Window Camera E10 is its tool-free setup. The camera uses a reusable adhesive mounting sticker that attaches to the inside of a window. Eufy says the pad can be removed at room temperature without leaving residue, making it a practical option for renters or anyone who does not want to drill into walls, window frames, or exterior surfaces.

The camera measures 68.28 x 68.28 x 41.8 mm and weighs just 64.1 g, so it is small enough to sit neatly on a window without drawing much attention. Eufy claims installation can take less than a minute.

A rear adjustment dial lets users tilt the lens downward by up to 25 degrees. This is useful because many window-mounted cameras capture too much sky and not enough ground-level activity. By angling the lens downward, the E10 can focus more clearly on people, vehicles, pets, parcels, and movement near the entrance or driveway.

The camera housing is designed to sit flush against the glass. Eufy also includes anti-reflection stickers in the box to help reduce glare from indoor lights during nighttime recording. However, the company notes that thick double-glazed or triple-glazed windows may still cause some glare around the edges of the image.

2.5K video recording with color night vision

The Eufy Window Camera E10 records video at 2688 x 1520 resolution, commonly described as 2.5K. It captures footage at 15 frames per second using an f/1.0 lens with a 125-degree diagonal field of view.

For low-light recording, the camera uses Eufy’s MaxColor Vision technology. Instead of relying on a built-in spotlight, the wide aperture and image processing are designed to deliver color video in dim conditions. Wide dynamic range is enabled by default to help balance bright and dark areas in the scene.

The Eufy app also supports up to 8x digital zoom, allowing users to take a closer look at specific details in recorded or live footage.

Local storage with no required monthly subscription

A major advantage of the Window Camera E10 is local storage. The camera supports microSD cards up to 256GB, allowing users to save recordings without paying for a monthly subscription. The memory card is sold separately.

Once a microSD card is installed, the camera supports local AI detection, smart alerts, and continuous 24/7 recording without a paid plan. This makes the E10 appealing to buyers who want home security camera recording without ongoing fees.

Optional cloud backup is also available for users who want an off-site copy of their footage.

Smart AI detection for people, pets, and vehicles

The Eufy Window Camera E10 processes motion detection directly on the device. It can classify activity as a person, vehicle, or pet, then send push notifications based on the type of event detected.

Users can also create custom activity zones through the app. This helps reduce unnecessary alerts by focusing on important areas, such as a front path, gate, driveway, or porch, while ignoring movement from roads, trees, or neighboring spaces.

The camera also supports pre-roll capture, which saves footage from the moments before a triggered event. This can help provide more context around what happened instead of only showing the action after motion was detected.

Wired power means no battery charging, but placement is limited

The Eufy Window Camera E10 does not have a battery. It runs on mains power using a plug-in adapter and a 3m USB-C cable. The included cable has a 90-degree L-shaped connector, and Eufy provides clips to help route it neatly along the window frame.

The benefit of this wired design is that users do not have to recharge batteries. It also enables continuous recording, which is often difficult for battery-powered cameras.

The downside is placement flexibility. The camera must be installed on a window close enough to a power outlet, and the cable will remain visible inside the room.

Wi-Fi, voice assistant support, and two-way audio

The E10 connects using dual-band Wi-Fi, supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for smart home integration.

Two-way audio is built in, though Eufy notes that speaking to someone outside depends on the thickness and insulation of the window glass. In some homes, the glass may reduce how clearly voices carry between indoors and outdoors.

The camera can operate as a standalone device or work with Eufy’s HomeBase S380, HomeBase Mini, and HomeBase Professional hubs. These hubs can add continuous snapshot capture. The older HomeBase 2 S280 is not supported, and Apple HomeKit compatibility is not included.

Where the Eufy Window Camera E10 should and should not be used

Eufy provides several guidelines for best results. The camera is not recommended for subjects closer than 0.5m, such as bird feeders, fish tanks, or objects very close to the window. It should also not be mounted on frosted, patterned, or cracked glass.

Upper-floor windows looking sharply downward may create larger blind spots, so ground-floor or moderately angled views are likely to work best. Eufy also advises users to avoid aiming the camera in ways that could intrude on neighbors’ privacy.

The E10 is rated to operate in temperatures from -10°C to 50°C.

What comes in the box

The Eufy Window Camera E10 package includes the camera, mounting sticker, power adapter, USB-C cable, cable clips, and a quick start guide. A microSD card is not included and must be purchased separately.

A practical home security camera for renters and homeowners

The Eufy Window Camera E10 is designed for people who want a simple security camera for watching outdoor areas without installing anything outside. Its indoor window-mounted design, local storage, AI alerts, 2.5K video, and no required monthly subscription make it an attractive option for monitoring driveways, entrances, gardens, and deliveries.

Its biggest limitation is the wired power setup, which means it must be placed near an outlet. Still, for users who value continuous recording and do not want to deal with battery charging or outdoor installation, the E10 could be a convenient and affordable home security upgrade.
