Anker is preparing to roll out a new smart home security accessory worldwide: the eufy Glass Break Sensor E10. Built specifically for home intrusion detection, this compact sensor is designed to recognize the sound of glass shattering from a window or door and alert you immediately.
The eufy Glass Break Sensor E10 is designed to monitor glass surfaces from up to 7.6 meters (about 25 feet) away, which means a single unit can potentially cover an entire room depending on layout. To improve accuracy, eufy says the device combines a neural chip with an AI-based detection algorithm that has been trained on common glass types. The goal is more reliable glass-break detection so you can respond quickly when it matters most.
When it detects the sound of breaking glass, the sensor can respond in two key ways: it can trigger an alarm sound and/or send an instant notification to your phone. That makes it useful not only when you’re home and want a loud warning, but also when you’re away and want real-time alerts.
Installation should be straightforward because it’s a wireless device. Battery life is rated at around three years before replacement is needed, making it a low-maintenance addition to a home security setup.
To use the sensor, it needs to be paired with a compatible eufy HomeBase security hub, such as the eufy HomeBase 3. Once connected, it supports a claimed wireless range of up to 200 meters (around 650 feet) and can be managed remotely using the eufy app, allowing you to monitor alerts and control settings from anywhere.
Pricing has already been shared for parts of Europe. In EU markets like Germany, the eufy Glass Break Sensor E10 is expected to retail for €59.99. A specific release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but interested buyers can sign up for an email notification to be alerted when it launches. The sensor is also expected to arrive in the US at an estimated price of about $49.99.
With long battery life, room-level coverage, and AI-based detection, the eufy Glass Break Sensor E10 looks positioned as a practical upgrade for anyone looking to strengthen window and door protection as part of a broader smart home security system.
