Anker Readies Eufy Wall Light Cam S4: Solar-Powered Security Lighting Is Coming Soon

Anker is taking the stage at CES 2026 with a new outdoor security option designed to do more than just record video. The eufy Solar Wall Light Cam S4 combines a high-resolution security camera, smart motion detection, a bright wall light, and solar charging in one unit—aimed at homeowners who want simpler installation and fewer devices mounted around the exterior of the house.

At the center of the eufy Solar Wall Light Cam S4 is a 4K camera (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) paired with an f/1.6 aperture, a setup intended to capture sharper detail while handling low-light scenes more effectively. For motion detection, the device uses a radar sensor that can pick up activity from people, vehicles, and pets. An AI-based system then helps classify what it sees, which can reduce unnecessary alerts compared to basic motion sensors.

Customization is a big part of the experience. Users can adjust motion detection distance, define specific activity zones, and set schedules to match when they actually want alerts. When motion is detected, the system can send smart notifications to your phone. For more direct deterrence, it can also trigger flashing lights and a loud 120 dB alarm—useful for discouraging unwanted visitors in real time.

Because it’s also a wall light, the built-in RGBWW lighting is a major feature rather than an afterthought. The light supports both white and colored effects, with a wide color temperature range from 2,700K to 6,500K. Anker is also including preset lighting modes, including themes that appear geared toward holidays, which makes the device practical for everyday lighting while adding a decorative angle when desired.

Other practical features include two-way audio for speaking with visitors (or warning off trespassers) and 32 GB of built-in eMMC storage, which can help keep recordings stored locally rather than relying entirely on cloud options.

Power is where the Solar Wall Light Cam S4 leans heavily into convenience. Anker says the detachable 2W solar panel can deliver enough energy to run the device for 24 hours from just three hours of sunlight. There’s also an integrated 10,000 mAh battery designed to store up to 40 days of power, helping the camera stay active even when sunlight is limited.

For smart home compatibility, the device supports Apple HomeKit when paired with a eufy HomeBase, and it can be linked with other security cameras from the brand—useful if you’re building a multi-camera setup around your home.

Pricing and availability look competitive for a 4K solar security camera with integrated lighting. The Anker eufy Solar Wall Light Cam S4 is expected to launch in the US for $199.99, with release timing currently aimed for the end of March 2026. At the moment, Anker hasn’t confirmed when it will arrive in other regions such as Europe.
