AMD is expanding its Ryzen 7000 series by introducing the Ryzen 5 7400 CPU, complete with integrated graphics. This new addition follows the quiet launch of the Ryzen 5 7400F earlier this year. A recent leak has revealed this upcoming model through an NBD shipping manifest, emphasizing its enhanced versatility.
The Ryzen 5 7400 will feature integrated graphics, setting it apart from the F variant designed for lower-end markets. This makes it an ideal choice for users who can’t spring for a dedicated graphics card but desire a flexible system.
Both models share the same TDP of 65W and include 6 cores, 12 threads, a base clock of 3.7 GHz, a boost clock of 4.7 GHz, and a 32 MB L3 cache, all built on the Zen 4 architecture and compatible with the AM5 socket.
As for pricing, expect the Ryzen 5 7400 to cost a bit more than its F counterpart, which launched at around $115 in China. The additional graphics capability is likely to add $10-$20, bringing the price to approximately $125-$135. This pricing makes it one of the most affordable options in the Ryzen 7000 lineup for those eager to embrace the latest platform. The exact release date remains unannounced, but anticipation is growing for this budget-friendly CPU option.
