Amazfit rolls out new flashlight-equipped editions of its best-selling smartwatch

Amazfit has expanded its T-Rex 3 Pro lineup with two new 44 mm models, joining the larger 48 mm versions released in September 2025. The new sizes keep the same rugged design language with a titanium bezel and titanium buttons, but package it in a more compact, wrist-friendly case.

In the US, the T-Rex 3 Pro 44 mm Black Gold and Arctic Gold are available to pre-order for $399.99, with shipments scheduled to begin on October 31. Orders placed through the brand’s online store include a 20% discount on one accessory, such as the Up Open-Ear Earbuds or a nylon/textured silicone strap. In the UK, both colors are on sale now at £399.90 with immediate shipping. Across parts of Europe including France, Spain, and Germany, the Black Gold model is listed at €399.90, while the Arctic Gold option is currently out of stock with no launch window confirmed. Pricing for the 44 mm models matches the 48 mm versions in all regions.

Beyond the case size, there are a few practical differences to consider. The 44 mm variant features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display and a 640 mAh battery rated for up to 19 days of typical use. The 48 mm model steps up to a 1.50-inch display and a 700 mAh battery with a claimed 25-day runtime. If you prioritize a bigger screen and maximum endurance, the 48 mm remains the better pick; if you want a lighter, more compact fit without sacrificing core capabilities, the 44 mm is the sweet spot.

Core features are consistent across the range. The T-Rex 3 Pro offers multi-band GPS with six satellite system support, offline maps, and on-watch route planning for navigation without a phone. Fitness coverage includes 180+ sports modes such as Rucking and Diving, plus health monitoring for heart rate and blood oxygen level. An integrated dual-color LED flashlight adds utility in low light, and the built-in speaker and microphone enable Bluetooth calling directly from the wrist.

Key details at a glance:

– Displays: 1.32-inch AMOLED (44 mm) vs. 1.50-inch AMOLED (48 mm)
