Amazfit Rolls Out Feature-Packed Smartwatch Update with Key Enhancements

Amazfit Bip 6 gets a new update with smarter training and swimming features

Amazfit has started rolling out a fresh software update for the Bip 6, bringing several useful improvements to the affordable smartwatch. Although the Bip 6 has been on the market for more than a year, the company is still supporting it with new features that make daily fitness tracking more practical.

The latest update arrives as firmware version 4.6.0.3 and is expected to be a relatively small download of around 12 MB. While availability may vary by region, users should begin seeing the update appear through the Zepp app over the coming days.

One of the key additions is Manual Rest support for Pool Swimming. This improvement should make swim tracking more accurate and flexible, especially for users who take breaks between laps or structured sets. Instead of relying only on automatic detection, swimmers can now better reflect their actual workout rhythm.

Amazfit has also improved Zepp Coach by allowing users to adjust the current week’s training plan. This gives Bip 6 owners more control over their fitness schedule, making it easier to adapt workouts around busy days, recovery needs, or unexpected changes in routine.

Another notable feature in firmware 4.6.0.3 is activity data synchronization across multiple devices. This is a helpful upgrade for users who own more than one Amazfit wearable or switch between devices, as workout and activity records can now stay more consistent across the ecosystem.

The Bip 6 remains an important model in Amazfit’s budget-friendly smartwatch lineup. Even though the company has recently focused on newer models, including the Bip Max and premium outdoor watches, this update shows that the Bip 6 is still receiving meaningful software support.

To check for the update, Bip 6 users can open the Zepp app, connect their smartwatch, and look for available firmware updates in the device settings. As with most smartwatch updates, it is recommended to keep the watch sufficiently charged before installation and maintain a stable Bluetooth connection during the process.

With improved swim tracking, more flexible coaching tools, and better multi-device activity syncing, the Amazfit Bip 6 firmware 4.6.0.3 update adds practical value for fitness-focused users without requiring new hardware.
