Amazfit Debuts Balance 2 XT Smartwatch Across Europe

Amazfit is bringing the Balance 2 XT smartwatch to Europe, positioning it as a more affordable take on the flagship Balance 2 with a few strategic trade-offs. The company says the XT will be sold through its online stores in Spain and Italy first. Buyers elsewhere in Europe should be able to order from those stores, though any additional shipping costs haven’t been detailed yet. An official European release date and final pricing are still to come, but one listing pegs it at €189.91. In the US, it’s already available via a major retailer for $199.99, while broader, official rollout timing remains unclear.

The Balance 2 XT keeps many headline features that matter day to day. You get a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, now protected by mineral glass, over 170 sport modes, and a robust health suite covering heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep quality, and stress. Built-in GPS with downloadable maps supports outdoor adventures, and Amazfit claims up to around 21 days of battery life, depending on usage.

What’s different versus the standard Balance 2? The XT swaps sapphire for mineral glass, drops the dedicated Golf app, and scales water protection to 5 ATM, which means it’s fine for pool swims and everyday splashes but not suitable for diving. Those changes help bring the price down compared to the standard Balance 2, which typically sells at a higher tier.

If you don’t need premium sapphire glass, golf-specific features, or dive-ready water resistance, the Balance 2 XT looks like a strong value play that still delivers comprehensive fitness tracking, long battery life, and reliable GPS with offline maps. Keep an eye out for the final European pricing and shipping details as availability expands.
