TechLife Pad Neo SE Launches as an Affordable 10.1-Inch Android Tablet With 1TB Expandable Storage
TechLife has introduced the Pad Neo SE in the Philippines, giving budget-conscious buyers a new Android tablet option with a large display, expandable storage, and family-friendly software features.
The TechLife Pad Neo SE is designed for everyday use, whether for online classes, video streaming, web browsing, reading, or light productivity. It features a metal body that measures 242.66 x 161.46 x 8.5 mm and weighs 539.1 grams, making it portable enough for daily use while still offering a roomy screen. Buyers can choose from three color options: Space Grey, Bubble Blue, and Aurora Green.
At the front, the tablet comes with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. While it is not aimed at premium tablet users, the screen size makes it a practical choice for watching videos, attending virtual meetings, reading documents, and browsing social media.
Powering the Pad Neo SE is the Unisoc Tiger T610 processor, an octa-core chipset built on a 12nm process. It is paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB of internal storage. One of the tablet’s key highlights is support for microSD card expansion of up to 1TB, giving users plenty of extra space for apps, photos, videos, school files, and downloaded content.
For cameras, the TechLife Pad Neo SE includes a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. These cameras are suited for basic photography, video calls, online learning, and document scanning.
The tablet is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, which should be enough for casual daily tasks. Charging is handled through a USB-C port with 10W charging support. It also supports 5W reverse charging, allowing it to share power with other compatible devices when needed.
Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The tablet also comes with stereo speakers for a better media experience, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack for users who still prefer wired earphones or headphones.
On the software side, the Pad Neo SE runs Android 16 and includes Google Kids Space. This makes it a more appealing choice for families, especially parents looking for an affordable tablet for children. Built-in parental controls allow adults to manage screen time and control app access, helping create a safer digital environment for younger users.
The TechLife Pad Neo SE is priced at PHP 8,999 in the Philippines, which is approximately $141. With its 10.1-inch display, large expandable storage support, Android 16 software, and kid-friendly features, it positions itself as a practical entry-level tablet for students, families, and casual users looking for a low-cost device.
