Honor Pad X9b Max launches globally with a huge 13-inch 120Hz display, Android 16, and 10,100mAh battery
Honor is expanding its tablet lineup with the international launch of the Honor Pad X9b Max, a large-screen Android tablet designed for entertainment, study, productivity, and everyday use. The device is now appearing in several global markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Turkey, and the Philippines.
The Honor Pad X9b Max is aimed at users who want a bigger display without moving to a laptop. With its 13-inch screen, long-lasting battery, stylus support, keyboard compatibility, and Android 16-based software, it positions itself as a practical option for streaming, reading, note-taking, online classes, light work, and multitasking.
The tablet previously debuted in China under a different name, the Honor Pad X10 Pro Max. For international markets, Honor is using the Pad X9b Max branding. While the company has not explained the reason behind the name change, the core hardware remains focused on delivering a large display experience at a competitive price.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor Pad X9b Max is its 13-inch LCD panel. The screen offers a 2500 x 1560 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it well suited for watching videos, browsing the web, reading documents, and working with split-screen apps.
Honor says the display can reach up to 700 nits of brightness. It also includes DC dimming and hardware-level low blue light protection, which may help reduce eye strain during longer reading or viewing sessions. The display carries IMAX Enhanced certification as well, giving the tablet extra appeal for users who mainly want a big-screen device for movies and shows.
Despite its large screen, the Honor Pad X9b Max keeps a slim profile. It measures 297.62 x 192.72 x 6.72 mm and weighs 618 grams. That makes it larger than typical 11-inch or 12-inch tablets, but still portable enough to carry in a backpack or use around the home.

According to Honor, the tablet can deliver up to 16 hours of local video playback or up to 13 hours of reading on a single charge. The company also claims up to 90 days of standby time under its own testing conditions.
For cameras, the tablet has a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. These are basic camera specifications, but they should be enough for video calls, online meetings, document scanning, and casual photos.

In the UAE, the Honor Pad X9b Max starts at AED 849, which is around $231, for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage Wi-Fi version.
In Saudi Arabia, the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is listed at SAR 999, around $266, down from SAR 1,199. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version costs SAR 1,099, around $293, while the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at SAR 1,499, around $400.
In Peru, the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage version is listed at S/1,999, around $595, with a promotional price of S/1,699, around $506.
In Turkey, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage Wi-Fi version costs TRY 21,999, around $452, and includes a keyboard and Pencil.
In the Philippines, the Honor Pad X9b Max is priced at PHP 19,999, around $318, without a keyboard. A bundle with the keyboard costs PHP 21,999, around $350. Sales begin on September 19, and launch-period buyers may also receive a free JBL GO4 speaker worth PHP 2,599, depending on eligibility and availability.
