Acemagic W1-5400U Mini PC Debuts With AMD Ryzen Power, Compact Design, and Plenty of Ports
Acemagic has introduced the W1-5400U in China, a budget-friendly mini PC aimed at users who need a compact desktop for everyday computing, office tasks, media playback, and light productivity. While it does not use the latest AMD hardware, its low price and practical feature set make it an appealing choice for home offices, classrooms, digital signage, and space-saving desk setups.
At the heart of the Acemagic W1-5400U is the AMD Ryzen 3 5400U, an entry-level processor from AMD’s Cezanne lineup. This chip features four Zen 3 CPU cores, making it suitable for web browsing, document editing, video streaming, online meetings, and other daily workloads. It is not designed for demanding gaming or heavy creative work, but for basic multitasking and general use, it should deliver dependable performance.
Graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon RX Vega 6 GPU. Although it is not as powerful as newer integrated graphics solutions such as AMD’s Radeon 780M or 880M, it can still manage lightweight graphics tasks, smooth video playback, and casual usage scenarios. For users looking for an affordable mini PC rather than a gaming machine, the Vega 6 remains a practical fit.
One of the biggest strengths of the W1-5400U is its compact chassis. The system comes in a 0.68-liter body, making it small enough to fit into tight spaces or sit discreetly on a desk. It also supports VESA mounting, allowing users to attach it to the back of a compatible monitor for a cleaner, all-in-one-style setup. This makes it especially useful for offices, reception areas, study rooms, and minimalist workstations.
Despite its small size, the Acemagic W1-5400U offers a surprisingly wide selection of ports. Connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and a 1GbE Ethernet port. This makes it easy to connect peripherals such as keyboards, mice, external drives, monitors, headsets, and wired networking equipment.
The mini PC also supports triple-display output through HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C. Each display output can handle up to 4K resolution at 60Hz, making the device suitable for multitasking across multiple screens. This is a useful feature for productivity users who want separate displays for spreadsheets, browsers, communication apps, or media playback.
Storage and memory options are also practical for the price range. The W1-5400U includes dual M.2 slots, giving users flexibility for storage expansion. It is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which should be enough for everyday workloads and moderate multitasking. Acemagic has also equipped the mini PC with a low-noise cooling system, helping it stay quiet during regular use.
In China, the Acemagic W1-5400U starts at CNY 1,599, which is around $234. This base model includes 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. A higher-end version with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is priced at CNY 1,999, or roughly $299.
Overall, the Acemagic W1-5400U is a compact and affordable AMD-powered mini PC that focuses on practicality rather than raw performance. With its Ryzen 3 processor, triple 4K display support, generous port selection, VESA mounting support, and low starting price, it could be a strong option for users who need a simple, space-saving desktop for everyday tasks.
