Zenless Zone Zero is heading into a busy season, and HoYoverse is giving fans plenty to look forward to. After the launch of the game’s Version 3.1 anniversary update, the studio has confirmed its plans for Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, while also sharing new details about the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail crossover scheduled for winter 2026.
HoYoverse will bring Zenless Zone Zero to Gamescom 2026 from August 26 to August 30 at Koelnmesse in Cologne. The game will be featured in Hall 6.1, Booth B030, as part of a large consumer exhibition space shared with Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The booth area is expected to cover around 660 square meters, giving fans a sizable space to explore HoYoverse’s biggest titles.
This year’s appearance is especially notable because HoYoverse will also have a separate business-focused booth in Hall 4.2, Booth B051. That marks the company’s first presence in Gamescom’s dedicated industry and media area, suggesting a stronger push into the European gaming market.
For Zenless Zone Zero fans, the Gamescom booth will offer a mix of interactive experiences, photo opportunities, and community activities. Visitors can expect a vinyl listening session, a Bangboo-themed photo wall, cosplay runway shows, trivia challenges, and themed merchandise. Planned items include card holders, holographic tickets, and button badges, making the booth a likely hotspot for collectors and longtime players.
The Gamescom reveal comes shortly after the Version 3.1 anniversary update, which introduced the permanent mode “Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel.” With new content arriving in-game and a major convention presence on the way, HoYoverse appears to be building momentum for Zenless Zone Zero across both online and offline communities.
The timing also follows the game’s Steam debut in June, which helped expand its reach among PC players. By bringing Zenless Zone Zero to one of Europe’s biggest gaming events, HoYoverse is clearly aiming to grow the title’s audience across PC and console platforms.
Beyond Gamescom, the biggest announcement for many fans is the confirmation of the first crossover between Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail. The collaboration was first teased through an unusual in-game moment that placed Pom-Pom from Honkai: Star Rail inside New Eridu. HoYoverse later officially confirmed the crossover during the Version 3.1 livestream.
The Zenless Zone Zero x Honkai: Star Rail crossover is currently planned for winter 2026. HoYoverse has not yet announced an exact release date, event format, or full list of participating characters. However, the reveal has already sparked heavy speculation across the community.
Unconfirmed rumors suggest the crossover could include character exchanges between the two games. Some reports claim that Zenless Zone Zero characters Ellen and Astra Yao may appear in Honkai: Star Rail, while Honkai: Star Rail’s Robin could make an appearance in Zenless Zone Zero. For now, HoYoverse has not verified these claims, and fans will need to wait for official updates before treating any character details as final.
The collaboration is also expanding beyond in-game content. Audio brand Moondrop has been confirmed as a hardware partner for the event, with plans to release a Sparxie-themed line of wireless earphones and accessories tied to the crossover.
While Zenless Zone Zero has already participated in brand partnerships, including collaborations with Kyuramen and Aston Martin, this winter 2026 event stands out because it connects the game directly with another major HoYoverse title. For players invested in both Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail, the crossover could become one of the most anticipated HoYoverse events of the year.
With a major Gamescom 2026 showcase, a growing European push, fresh anniversary content, and a high-profile crossover on the horizon, Zenless Zone Zero is entering an important phase. HoYoverse is not only keeping current players engaged but also positioning the game to attract new fans across PC, console, and the wider anime-style action RPG audience.
