Xbox Unveils Hands-On Gamescom 2026 Game Lineup

Xbox Reveals Massive Gamescom 2026 Lineup With Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Playable

Xbox is preparing a major showcase for Gamescom 2026, confirming a large playable booth packed with upcoming games, developer appearances, livestreams, and anniversary-themed experiences. The Xbox booth will be located in Hall 7 at booth A-0.61 inside the Koelnmesse exhibition center in Cologne, Germany.

Running from August 26 to August 30, the booth will feature 140 gaming stations and hands-on demos for 25 titles. The setup is also designed to celebrate Xbox’s 25th anniversary, giving visitors a chance to explore key moments, memorable games, and innovations from the brand’s history.

The playable lineup includes several major first-party Xbox titles. Fans attending the event will be able to try Fable from Playground Games, Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition, and Minecraft Dungeons II from Mojang Studios and Double Eleven. These titles are expected to be among the biggest attractions at the booth, especially with Fable receiving a dedicated live demo theater that will provide an extended look at its combat system.

Xbox is also bringing a strong selection of third-party games to Gamescom 2026. Confirmed playable titles include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward, Alien: Isolation 2 from Creative Assembly, Metro 2039 from 4A Games, and Stranger Than Heaven. Additional games are expected to appear at the booth, though Xbox has not yet revealed the full list.

Developers will be on-site throughout the show to guide players through demo builds, share gameplay details, and answer questions. This should give attendees a closer look at how these upcoming Xbox games are shaping up ahead of release.

Accessibility is also a key part of Xbox’s Gamescom 2026 presence. The booth will include wheelchair access, Xbox Adaptive Controllers, adjustable-height desks and monitors, and a quiet room for reduced sensory play. Sign language interpreters will be available for American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and German Sign Language, helping make the experience more inclusive for a wider range of visitors.

Xbox FanFest will also return during the event, taking place at the booth on Wednesday, August 26, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm CEST. The fan event is expected to give attendees another opportunity to celebrate the Xbox community with special activities and exclusive experiences.

For fans who cannot attend Gamescom 2026 in person, Xbox will host two livestreams directly from its booth stage. The broadcasts are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27. Each stream will begin at 7:00 am PDT, 10:00 am EDT, and 4:00 pm CEST.

The livestreams will feature extended gameplay, fresh announcements, and developer interviews, making them a key part of Xbox’s Gamescom plans for global viewers. These broadcasts will follow Gamescom Opening Night Live, which kicks off the week on Tuesday, August 25.

With a huge playable lineup, major franchises, developer-led presentations, accessibility support, and anniversary celebrations, Xbox appears ready to make Gamescom 2026 one of its biggest public gaming showcases in years. For fans eager to see more from Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and other upcoming releases, the Xbox booth in Cologne is shaping up to be one of the main highlights of the show.
