Xiaomi has introduced a new compact high-capacity power bank in India, the Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20,000mAh 67W. Designed for users who need reliable charging on the go, the new accessory combines a large battery, fast charging support, multiple output options, and a built-in USB-C cable in a pocket-friendly form factor.
The Xiaomi Power Bank 5i is roughly the size of a smartphone, measuring 14 x 7.2 x 3.12 cm. While it is compact enough to fit into a bag or carry around easily, it weighs 420 grams, making it a bit heavier than standard small-capacity power banks. That added weight comes from its large 20,000mAh battery, which is aimed at users who want several full charges for their phones or enough power to top up compatible laptops.
One of the biggest highlights of the Power Bank 5i is its built-in USB-C cable. This cable can be used for fast charging and also works as a lanyard, making the device more convenient to carry. Along with the integrated cable, the power bank also includes USB-C and USB-A ports, giving users flexibility when charging multiple devices.
Xiaomi claims the 20,000mAh battery can charge popular flagship smartphones multiple times. According to the company, it can charge the iPhone 17 Pro up to 3.46 times, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra up to 2.93 times, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra up to 3.11 times. The power bank is also capable of charging USB-C laptops, including models such as the MacBook Air, making it useful for students, travelers, professionals, and anyone who needs portable backup power.
In terms of charging speed, the Xiaomi Power Bank 5i supports up to 67W output. When used in single-port mode, the available output options include 67W, 67W, and 22.5W, depending on the port being used. When all four charging outputs are active at the same time, the total combined output can reach up to 67W.
The device supports several popular fast charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, QC 3.5, BC 1.2, and Apple 2.4A. This wide compatibility means it can efficiently charge a variety of smartphones, tablets, earbuds, smartwatches, and supported laptops.
The power bank itself can recharge at up to 65W, although Xiaomi has not revealed the exact time required for a full recharge. A small smart digital display is placed on the top-left side of the device, showing useful details such as remaining battery percentage, charging status, low-current mode, and malfunction alerts.
Xiaomi has also added several safety features to the Power Bank 5i. The company says the device comes with 12 layers of protection for improved durability and safer operation. It also includes dual NTC sensors for continuous temperature monitoring, helping manage heat during fast charging and multi-device use.
The Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20,000mAh 67W is available in two color options: Jet Black and Ice Blue. In India, it is priced at ₹3,299, which is approximately $34. Sales are scheduled to begin on July 28 through Xiaomi’s official online store.
