Xiaomi is pushing the mini-LED gaming monitor segment forward again with its latest 27-inch display, the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026. The big headline is brightness: it can hit a peak 2,000 nits, giving it a serious advantage for HDR highlights and bright-room viewing compared to many competing gaming monitors that top out lower.
Despite the brightness jump, Xiaomi keeps the core specs that made the earlier model appealing for gamers who also care about image quality. You’re still getting a sharp 1440p resolution on a 27-inch IPS panel, paired with a fast 180 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms GtG response times for responsive, smooth gameplay.
Color performance also remains a key selling point. The monitor is rated for 99% AdobeRGB and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, which is especially attractive for creators who want wide-gamut color alongside gaming-ready motion handling. Xiaomi also claims a tighter color accuracy rating this time, improving from ∆E<2 on the previous version to ∆E<1, which should translate to more precise color reproduction out of the box.
Pricing and availability are currently a mixed bag depending on region. Xiaomi’s earlier Redmi Monitor G Pro 27U launched in China at CNY 2,699 (around $388). The new Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 has already appeared in Australia with a listed price of AUD 699 (about $488). However, an early promotion has brought that down to AU$499 (roughly $348), making it far more competitive for a high-brightness mini-LED gaming display.
For now, Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed when the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 will roll out to additional markets, so anyone outside Australia may need to wait for wider availability announcements.
