Xiaomi is expanding its projector lineup in Europe with a handy new add-on designed to make home entertainment setups more flexible. The company has introduced the Xiaomi Projector Multi-angle Stand, a compact accessory built to help users adjust projection angles more easily, including the option to aim content at a ceiling.
The stand is designed primarily for Xiaomi’s Smart Projector L1 Pro, but it isn’t limited to just one model. Xiaomi notes that it can also work with other projectors, as long as they meet a few requirements: the projector must be up to 132 mm wide, weigh no more than 3 kg, and support a bottom-mounted 1/4-inch imperial screw mount. That makes the stand a potentially useful choice for people who want a more universal projector stand for different devices, provided they fit within those size and mounting limits.
One of the highlight features is rotation of up to 360 degrees, which can be especially useful for changing the viewing setup quickly, moving between wall projection and ceiling projection, or adjusting the image without constantly repositioning furniture. However, Xiaomi also points out an important detail for buyers who specifically want ceiling projection. Due to differences in device length and the positioning of external ports on various projectors, only the Smart Projector L1 Pro is considered fully compatible with the stand’s ceiling projection mode.
Pricing in Europe is unusual so far. In France, Xiaomi has set the Projector Multi-angle Stand at €49.99 (around $60). In Spain, the same accessory is listed for just €24.99 (around $30). Xiaomi hasn’t clarified why there’s such a big difference, and it’s not yet clear whether the lower price is a limited-time introductory offer or a longer-term regional price.
For shoppers looking to upgrade a projector setup with more positioning freedom, this accessory could be a practical addition, especially for Smart Projector L1 Pro owners who want reliable ceiling projection without complicated mounting solutions.
