Xiaomi has refreshed its Sound 2 Pro Hi-Fi speaker lineup with a new option that’s designed for people who want a bigger, room-filling stereo setup without changing what already worked. The latest release introduces the Sound 2 Pro as a Dual Pack, effectively selling the speakers as a ready-made stereo pair while keeping the same core hardware from the original version.
Each Xiaomi Sound 2 Pro unit is rated to deliver up to 40 W of power, with a frequency response listed at 53 Hz to 21.7 kHz. That puts it squarely in the sweet spot for everyday Hi-Fi listening, from vocals and acoustic tracks to bass-heavy playlists, while still aiming for clarity in the upper range.
Connectivity is another big part of the package. Xiaomi includes multiple input options, including RCA and USB Type-C, giving the Sound 2 Pro flexibility for different setups such as TVs, desktops, and other home audio sources. On the wireless side, the speaker supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi‑Fi 6, which should help with smoother connections and more stable performance depending on how you plan to stream your music.
Beyond a simple left-right stereo arrangement, Xiaomi says the Sound 2 Pro can be expanded further. Up to four units can be paired at the same time, and when configured this way, Xiaomi claims the system can create a “spatial sound effect” under its Spatial Sound Field Reconstruction marketing. In practical terms, the company is positioning this as a way to widen the soundstage and create a more immersive listening experience when you spread multiple speakers around a space.
Pricing for the new Xiaomi Sound 2 Pro Dual Pack is set at CNY 2,798 (around $411). Interestingly, Xiaomi currently lists a single Sound 2 Pro at CNY 1,399 (around $205), which makes the dual pack essentially a straightforward two-speaker purchase rather than a discounted bundle.
For anyone shopping for a Xiaomi Hi-Fi speaker setup, the updated Sound 2 Pro Dual Pack is a simple proposition: the same 40 W-per-speaker hardware, flexible wired and wireless connectivity, and the option to scale up to a four-speaker configuration for a more cinematic, immersive sound presentation.
