Xiaomi seems to be making a bold move by skipping the Redmi 14 series and jumping straight into the Redmi 15 lineup. Exciting leaks suggest the imminent release of the Redmi 15 5G, running on the new HyperOS 2.0. This comes hot on the heels of last month’s refresh of the Redmi K series with the Redmi K80 Ultra.
Rumors are swirling about a slew of upcoming launches, including the Redmi Note 15, Redmi K90, and Xiaomi 16 models, all expected before year’s end. Additionally, successors to the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro are anticipated alongside these releases.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has already certified the budget-friendly Redmi 15 5G for sale in the U.S., under the model number 25057RN09G. Although the FCC keeps many details under wraps, some specs are revealed. The Redmi 15 5G will operate on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, offering a variety of 5G bands and maxing out at Wi-Fi 5 standards. With its predecessor launched in early July last year, the Redmi 15 5G is likely to debut soon, possibly within the next month.
