Xiaomi Launches Budget-Friendly Hi-Res Audio Headphones Worldwide

Xiaomi Redmi Headphones Neo Launch Globally With Affordable Pricing and Hi-Res Appeal

Xiaomi has started rolling out its new Redmi Headphones Neo to international markets, bringing another affordable over-ear wireless headphone option to buyers looking for solid features without paying premium prices.

The Redmi Headphones Neo first appeared in Japan recently, but they were not part of Xiaomi’s latest global launch event in Vienna. Despite that quiet arrival, the headphones are now showing up across several regions, including Australia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and parts of Europe.

At launch, Xiaomi is offering the Redmi Headphones Neo in two color options: Obsidian Black and Sand White. A third Mist Blue version is rumored to arrive later, possibly around September, although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed that release window.

The biggest appeal of the Redmi Headphones Neo is their budget-friendly positioning. Xiaomi is pricing the headphones at AUD 109 in Australia, MYR 239 in Malaysia, SGD 65.90 in Singapore, KRW 72,800 in South Korea, SEK 799 in Sweden, and THB 1,990 in Thailand. That places them at around $61, depending on the market.

With this pricing, the Redmi Headphones Neo appear to target the affordable wireless headphone segment rather than the mid-range category. They are positioned closer to entry-level over-ear models from major audio brands, making them an interesting choice for users who want a simple, stylish, and accessible pair of headphones for everyday use.

The Redmi Headphones Neo also arrive with Hi-Res audio branding, which could help them stand out among other budget headphones. While Xiaomi has not yet shared full availability details for every country, the current international rollout suggests the company is preparing to make the model more widely available.

For now, buyers in supported regions can choose between the black and white versions, while those interested in a brighter color option may want to wait and see if the rumored Mist Blue edition launches later this year.

Xiaomi has not confirmed when the Redmi Headphones Neo will be released in additional markets, but their competitive pricing and global availability could make them a strong option for shoppers looking for affordable over-ear headphones in 2026.
